This driver only supports the "Home Air Conditioner" Device Class Group

Is there a minimum Echonet Lite version required?

This driver was built around the Echonet Lite version 1.12. Older versions may not work as expected.

What hardware will this work on?

• This Driver was tested on a Mitubishi unit that had access to the Mitsubishi WiFi Control App using the MAC-568IF-E module (https://www.mitsubishielectric.com.au/product/mac-568if-e-wi-fi-controller/)

Echonet Lite makes HVAC integration easy. On occassion without any additional hardware required, whether it be built into the unit or comes provided with the installation of the HVAC unit.

Do I need an active Internet Connection for this driver to work?

No. This driver communicates over the Local Area Network. A Static IP or DHCP reservation assignment is required on your network for the Echonet Lite device.
