msgreenf
Depending on the model some of the lights in the Chowmain driver use LAN control @Andrew luecke can probably expand on that statement.
Greck1982
I can’t find this option in the driver, probably looking at somehow in the wrong place?
msgreenf
There is no option - if the device supports LAN it just uses it
Greck1982
So my LAN enabled govee lights should work as fast as zigbe Lutron or C4 devices? And should work if I turn off internet?

Oh, that's not what I said. For the models that the driver supports land control. It will automatically default to land control
Andrew luecke Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM G'day, Huge New Update in Govee today 20240917. Govee LAN Control is now supported. This is a FREE upgrade for existing users! Download Link: https://chowmain.software/drivers/control4-govee This allows hugely improved responsiveness, bypasses server quotas, provides dimmable button links and other features. OS 3.4.2 is required, and you will need to replace your Light V2/V1 drivers with the new Local light driver. You will also need Govee LAN-Control compatible devices, and to turn on LAN Control in the Govee App for each device. To confirm if LAN Control is supported, the Govee App should show the option to turn it on. alanchow
