tilas711
This may be a dumb question... BUT I have an Episode Response Matrix/Amp (EA-RSP-16D-100) and have no issues with rooms/volumes typically but I now have 2 sets of speakers in my backyard "room" in Control4. Backyard speakers (output 4) and patio ceiling speakers (output 8). I have Audio End-Point 1/Audio Volume 1 as Out (Room) 4 and Audio End-Point 2/Audio Volume 2/Video's Audio End-Point 1/Video Volume 1 as Out (Room) 8. When playing audio I can hear everything out of Out 4 (Audio End 1) but hear nothing out of the other speakers and don't see a way to control the volume from the C4 app. I believe everything is linked correctly but I feel like I'm missing something super simple here... Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Cyknight
That's not at all what audio endpoint 2 is for...and no your linking is not correct. As you have Episode response amps, just leave the audio endpoints for 1 all on output 4, take off audio endpoint 2 completely. Then in the amp web interface itself, set output 8 to the same output group as output 4 (would be group D). That's all you need to do in this scenario. Control4 doesn't need to know anything, the amp will take care of binding the output switching and volume
Cyknight
Well unless you're trying to prevent video audio from playing in the back yard. Then you're certainly complicating things.
