Ringold
I currently have an HC300 controlling 2 rooms (2 tv outputs). Input devices are BD Changer, Media server, Hc300, 2 Direct Tv DVRs, and Playstation.I would like to extend these inputs throughout my home and have them available on 2 other tvs. Each TV monitor is about 90-110 feet from source equipment. My questions are:1. What is the current best/most reliable/cost effective technique to get a quality HD signal to these monitors? (I have read about hdmi and component balens using Cat5e or Cat6. Are these reliable?)2. Also, most individuals recommend 2 ethernet cables to each monitor. Is one for the video and one for the ir control? or are both for the HD signal? Thanks in advance.... ILoveC4
Check out Just Add Power HDMI over IP. You can run HDMI up to 1,000 feet over one cat5. You would want a second Cat5 for IR control.
