Amazon Music C4 Driver THINKS it's working-- but it's not. All other C4 Streaming Apps work fine

Recommended Posts

Hi all - I have a question for you I have been trying to figure out. About two weeks ago my Amazon Music service stopped playing audio through the C4 system. It THINKS it's playing audio, but no audio actually comes out of the speakers.  I can browse, select and shuffle a playlist in Amazon without issue-- just no actual audio.  I have successfully used Pandora, SiriusXM, TuneIn, Spotify Connect and Tidal through the exact same bindings and speaker wiring and all work fine. System is on 3.4.2 and running a CA10 for Director with an EA5 for streaming services. Both analog outputs of the EA5 are routed through a C4 Audio Matrix and then a C4 Amp. The Amazon Driver is the latest-- v70.  So far this is what I have done to try and troubleshoot: (1) logged out and logged back into driver-- no dice. (2) Deleted, refreshed and then added back the driver-- no dice.  (3) Rebooted both CA10 and EA5 and tried again-- no dice. (4) Double checked the EA5 volume was all the way up-- it was so no dice.  (5) Checked multiple amps in the system just to make sure it wasn't some kind of hardware failure-- no dice (6) Made sure the Amazon driver was bound to the Digital Media client-- it was (7) Made sure Amazon Music works by itself-- it does. I am running out of options here as to what to do next. Any ideas? Thanks to all in advance.

I would try removing one of the audio connections from the EA5 in composer.  Sounds to me like it could be that one of the connections is bad.  If you delete one of the connections is will force it to use the other one so you can check each physical connection independently.

Hi!!! Thanks for the suggestion. Tried it but no dice. All other streaming sources still worked through with just audio 1 analog out and just analog 2 audio out coming out of the EA5.
