ThiokolNorm Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Hi, I haven't updated my firmware in a few years and am finally getting around to it. My current firmware is 1.2.16 (30-Jun-2022) and the latest firmware available is 1.4.11. Unfortunately, the release notes require either 1.2.25 or 1.3.07 before starting the two-step firmware upgrade to 1.4.11. I have been unsuccessful in finding older firmware files (the link on the device page Araknis Networks® 310-Series Gigabit VPN Router | Snap One (snapav.com) only points to the latest version https://www.control4.com/docs/product/araknis-310-router/firmware-package/english/latest and my guesses at the directory name for older versions hasn't been successful). Could someone please provide me a link to the directory where older firmware versions are saved so I can start my update process? Thanks. Quote
Grizzly Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I am dealing with the same issue. Did you find a resolution? Quote
pshrop Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Has anyone tried the jump from 1.2.16 to 1.4.11 without the interim step to 1.2.25/1.3.07? What are the chances I’ll brick it without the interim update? I can’t find those interim files anywhere and don’t have access via OvrC. Quote
msgreenf Posted October 25 Posted October 25 You can't go straight. You have to install 1.4.10 before 11 pshrop 1 Quote
pshrop Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Is the update worthwhile? Inclined to wait until I need a C4 firmware update … unless tonight’s router swap is a flop, in which case I’ll have 2 needs for remote programming Quote
msgreenf Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Yes. There are significant security enhancements. I would not recommend running the router without current updates pshrop 1 Quote
