AP810 keeps shutting off, maybe due to thermal overload?

Recommended Posts

For the last month, one of my AP810's is randomly shutting off and losing connection to my network for some reason.  Seems to be happening independent of the other WAP's on the network and the unit is pretty warm to the touch.  If I disconnect the power cord (not running POE) and let it sit for a minute and plug the power back in, it will reconnect and operate as normal for week or so.  It is not mounted on a ceiling, simply placed on top of a table in the open air.

I've looked around and don't see anyone else posting about thermal overload so wondering if I may have a unit that is failing or is this a known issue with a work around.  It is running latest firmware 2.2.00.

Thank you for any insight you may have.
