Does anyone know how to add a new gate code to the door station?

Hi all,

 

I need to add a new gate code for a worker to be able to get in. I tried holding the "gate" button down on my iPhone app, but that just asks me if I want to add it to favorites.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you're talking about the DS2 doorstation?

If so, you have to have a lock driver attached.  Once you have the lock driver, you need to have that visible in Navigators, and when you press and hold the lock device, it will give you the 'Manage Users' option.

As far as I know, you can also do this in HE without a lock driver.  I certainly added codes 5 years ago and 10 years ago (without the lock driver).  Things may have changed!

might be able to do in the web interface. i think it has been discontinued for security reasons. i could be wrong on that.
