io-extender failed no SDDP

I have a couple of io-extenders installed. 

One has gone offline for no apparent reason. It has an ip address, I have tried the factory reset (seemed to work)

Still, SDDP is off, tried Image Updater but this won't connect either.

Any suggestions please?

Maybe an IP address conflict?  Or it could just be toast.

likely something on the network maybe blocking sddp traffic. Rare that it does it for one device and not others. 

 

can you use ip for the device image updater? 

 

Does it stop working after using ip address? 

if it is not a v2 they are old so may just be dead.

I don't believe it is an IP address conflict as it's outside the DHCP window.

I have assigned it an IP address through the router and can ping it. (traffic looks to be nothing from what I can see)

The image updater cannot connect, as with system manager.

Yeah....that doesn't guarantee anything

I was talking about idetnifting it in composer (or in image updater for that matter) via IP

No conflict has been confirmed.

I have tried in composer and image updater via IP as it is not visable. Neither will connect.
