B-Madison-Wi Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Hello everyone! My first post but a very long time lurker. I have multiple jobs with anywhere from 40-120 Keypads(APDs, KP, SW some 0-10). My last few ones have around 80-90 keypads each, all snow white and ordered at the same time. A low % of these have different color backlight, its much warmer than most, has anyone ran into that? If i set the white keypads to light yellow i can match the warmer white ones pretty well, but its not perfect(and pure white just looks better). Ive tried blue and red as well for kicks and they are different shades of those colors on each keypad. Ive noticed this in 4 of our recent installs, one with 30ish keypads and others have 85+. Those were all ordered over past 6 months. Picture shows KP next to APD, but I have some APDs next to each other that also have same problem. Its not the engravings. Quote
Time2Jet Posted January 8 Posted January 8 This is a problem that has plagued Gen3 lighting since it's release. For the cost of these devices, I expect better. Truly. chopedogg88, SpencerT and penn65000 2 1 Quote
ILoveC4 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Yeah, there's not much consistency in how they project light. Pretty frustrating, really. penn65000 1 Quote
