wpervaiz
hey guys,I have an axis camera (214PTZ) with a 24V indoor power supply. Occasionally this camera goes down and requires a simple power cycle to get it working again.I was thinking, if i plug this into a wireless outlet switch, I'll be able to power cycle remotely without going on-site every time.Would this work? Or are there any better alternatives?thanks!
CFUG
Yes, of course it will. I have a 214, what is the issue?? I have not experienced this problem...
wpervaiz
not really sure, but this is a persistent issue, even after replacing the camera/power supply numerous times. a restart after a couple of months does the trick.I'll go ahead and install a wireless outlet switch and be done with it.Thanks!
