z3lig
What are the possibilities here? I would like to start a thread on different use cases for control4 + kinect. Check out some the applications already prototyped: http://kinecthacks.net/Now imagine a kinect in each room that could browse c4 navigator, or body/hand gestures that are macros for a scene. henniae
This would be interesting. The Kinect is one of the most hacked new devices on the market. Check out hackaday.com for interesting Kinect hacks. I am using the term hack in a complementary way here. =D

dgbrown
I'm calling Steve tomorrow. Microsoft should buy C4 and be done with it. Kinect from end for C4 + xbox media player.

RyanE
I personally find little use for this sort of control outside of 'the lab' or outside of a fun demo.I'd rather not look like I'm having epileptic fits trying to change my channels, and rather not have the volume ramp out of control when I'm enthusiastically celebrating the last-second touchdown.RyanE

However we do work in fire and police training centers where I think this would be a great fit for presentations, etc...
