query Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 I have never really played with HE, since I have no thermostats or dimmers, etc. connected to my system. However, I would really like to be able to adjust defaul volume and volume ramp for various audio and video zones and devices without calling the dealer. For instance, a new direct TV receiver has been added by my dealer for a new panel, but it cannot be adjusted down to a low enough volume without the volume turning off entirely. Can this be reset in HE? And what about the default volume level in an audio zone?I went to the index in HE and was unable to find volume control as a topic.... My dealer's response was "you can do it in HE, but it is too complicated to explain..."Helpful suggestions would be appreciated.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

query Posted January 20, 2011 Author Share Posted January 20, 2011 Yes, speakers in guest room wall connected to 8 zone amp (1 of 2) in rack in another room. Direct TV audio output wired back to rack which also contains audio maxtrix switch and media controller. Director running on HC 300 in yet another room.
