C4Newbie
Does it make much of a difference? He only has an HC-300 now with a bunch of dimmers, media, etc and growing. Has performance issues therefore is told to add an hc-1000. He is being quoted $950 for a V1. I think it's rediculous but that's just me. Any other differences? Will v1 hav any issues running 2.1X and/or future revs?

That's a good price for an HC1000 IMO, considering new they are almost double that. No, the 1000 will not have issues with 2.1+, and we cant say anything about software that's not even in beta yet. RyanE
Agreed. I use a V1 HC1000 at my house, works fine with 2.1, no plans to discontinue support of 'older' HC1000's that I've heard of.*Any* HC1000 has plenty of CPU to run pretty much any project.RyanE
