  1. Xbox 360 can in theory be used with the Windows Media Center driver when using the Xbox in Windows Media Center Extender mode - but we've had some reports that this isn't 100% with MyMovies yet - we're looking into it at the moment.
  2. Thanks for letting me know that upgrading to Windows 7 resolved the issue. I've spoken to My Movies and the Windows XP Collection Management software should work fine; it's unable to create the firewall rules automatically but everything else should be fine. They're looking into it still.
  3. This sounds like something you'd need to take up with My Movie - we're also investigating why there are a number of people that have this issue. Firewall check as well I think: First, please confirm that the 'Enabled' box in Collection Management - Settings - Remote Control Server is checked. Second, please confirm that the My Movies tray application is running, even with the Collection Management program closed. Next, please copy and paste the following command into a web browser on the machine running Collection Management. http://127.0.0.1:51414/?command=ping If it returns a 'could not be found' error then please try disabling any firewalls on the local PC and try again. If it still fails, then you the problem is with My Movies; normally we'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling, but you've already tried that. If the first command fails and the second command shows an XML document then the firewall needs configuring to allow incoming connections on TCP port 51414.
  4. There's an issue with MyMovies that it sometimes doesn't register the system variables in Windows that it needs to (or something similar). Uninstall My Movies, restart, reinstall My Movies. This should fix any remaining problems. My Movies are looking into this.
  5. Each disc should be in it's own folder for MM to work best, so each one can be marked as an online folder. This is straight from Brian at MyMovies, so I assume he knows what he's talking about In this instance, you could have pressed the 'Reset Memory' button in Composer and it would have rescanned the MM library from the top and the problem would also have been resolved. In cases where there's a collision in location like this, there's not much I can do as the purge to remove the old file from the database wouldn't have run until they'd all been scanned in. I'll add it to the troubleshooting list.
  6. This should be happening already - offline discs are skipped. Is there a location for this disc in Collection Management?
