  1. Can these be used remotely with port forwarding? Would you just replace controller ip with remote up?
  2. Were you using the TV speakers before the soundbar purchase? Does your TV have a variable volume output on RCA? If yes, connect it to the soundbar and set the volume to mid level. Then use the TVs volume control to raise and lower the volume. Leave the soundbar always powered on. No need to add IR control to soundbar.
  3. This is made to go over an existing projection screen but could work with a large flat panel. http://www.carada.com/HorizontalMasquerade.aspx
  4. Can the Event/Notification handle strings like email? Example is Door Lock user codes, ${Den::Den Black and Decker Zigbee Lock::USERNAME}.
  5. If you have a matrix switch, you could add slingbox software to your iMac and receive TV video and all other C4 sources on the iMac. http://wiki.cytexone.com/display/pubdocs/SlingBox+Control4+Integration
  6. Extra Vegetables has a You Tube channel that has demos of the drivers.
  7. I placed an order for the following and will try it out. I'm not afflilitaed with the company and interested in finding a nice wall mount. Price was $65, but now showing out of stock. http://www.theipadframe.com/ Also the modulR looks promising at $99. http://www.modulrcase.com/
  8. Pretty sure the cost is $20 plus dealer installation for the one way driver.
  9. The best one-way driver is the ExtraVegetables One Way IP driver for Apple TV. It replaces the IR bug with IP control. It does not have the "play/select" problem and will not interrupt the currently playing song when Apple TV is added to a zone, or when changing sources it does not incorrectly select content . Also the Control4 Info button on the remote, gives you access to the now playing context menu (movie chapters or the audio menu with browse current artist, genius, ...). The cost is about $20 plus installation. Next upgrade would be the Two-way Apple TV driver that has been discussed in other posts.
  10. How is the equipment hooked up to the projector? Video Switch or each source a different input on the projector?
  11. I have succesfully controlled a Uverse box with C4. You should try using emitter shields and non-blinking IR emitters.
  12. There should be a two-way driver for the Parasound FM/AM ZTuner. http://www.parasound.com/ParasoundZ/ztunerv2.php I think there is an option for internet radio in the XBMC driver. You can also access Apple TV Internet radio stations through itunes playlists with the new two-way driver. All from C4 touchscreens.
  13. Here is a good video of the store in action. http://www.cepro.com/article/hands_on_at_ces_2010_control4_app_store/
  14. The better variable would be under Digital Audio Events and Actions. "When a room enters a session" -Button 1 Set LED to Black -Button 4 Set LED to Black -Button 6 Set LED to Black ? If Room is NOT in Session with Kitchen -> Button 1 Set Black ? If Room is NOT in Session with Dining -> Button 4 Set Black ? If Room is in Session with Kitchen -> Button 1 Set Blue ? If Room is in Session with Dining -> Button 4 Set Blue "When a room leaves a session" -Button 1 Set LED to Black -Button 4 Set LED to Black -Button 6 Set LED to Black ? If Room is OFF -> Button 6 LED to Red
  15. I have not done a lot of programming for Sessions, but I think the following will work. Go to each room and start with the Current Selected Device Variable. "When the variable Room->Current_Selected_Device changes" -Button 1 Set LED to Black -Button 4 Set LED to Black -Button 6 Set LED to Black ? If Room is NOT in Session with Kitchen -> Button 1 Set Black ? If Room is NOT in Session with Dining -> Button 4 Set Black ? If Room is in Session with Kitchen -> Button 1 Set Blue ? If Room is in Session with Dining -> Button 4 Set Blue ? If Room is OFF -> Button 6 Set Blue There may be a better way with variables but I think the above will work.
