  1. My shower recently updated to a new version and now the start_user URL no longer works (even from the web interface). The quick_shower? settings still seem to, but now I have to manually set up each of the users in a Control4-stored URL instead of letting UI config/reconfig changes for a particular user. Sigh. Anyone seen this and figured out another URL for start_user?
  2. I'm also seeing this problem. I went to download Composer ME (for the first time ever) and the version selector ends at 3.1.0.xxx. I tried downloading that, but after it starts up, it notices my system is 3.2.1 and tries to update. It gives me dialog with "Available Updates" 3.2.1.589001-res+Composer but if you click on "update", you get "There are no versions found for Composer ME 3.2.1". I think C4's site is broken.
  3. Bumping this again. I'm seeing this ERROR failure every 5 minutes in my logs. Every IP address is a legit device in the config (and there are no problems controlling those devices). Right now I'm just trying to clear noise in my logs. 2021-01-24 07:22:12.747 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: No route to host 2021-01-24 07:22:32.747 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: No route to host 2021-01-24 07:22:52.751 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: No route to host 2021-01-24 07:23:12.751 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: No route to host 2021-01-24 07:23:29.841 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: Connection refused 2021-01-24 07:23:49.812 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: Connection refused 2021-01-24 07:24:09.772 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: Connection refused 2021-01-24 07:24:49.764 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: Operation canceled 2021-01-24 07:25:09.766 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: Operation canceled 2021-01-24 07:25:29.769 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: Operation canceled 2021-01-24 07:25:49.772 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: Operation canceled 2021-01-24 07:25:59.782 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: handleConnect(): Error connecting [0.0.0.0:0]: No route to host 2021-01-24 07:26:02.059 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: Flash: Failed to retreive device info from 192.xx.xx.xx [ REDACTED by me] 2021-01-24 07:26:04.162 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: Flash: Failed to retreive device info from 192.xx.xx.xx 2021-01-24 07:26:06.266 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: Flash: Failed to retreive device info from 192.xx.xx.xx 2021-01-24 07:26:08.370 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: Flash: Failed to retreive device info from 192.xx.xx.xx 2021-01-24 07:26:10.478 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: Flash: Failed to retreive device info from 192.xx.xx.xx 2021-01-24 07:26:12.581 -0600 ea5-000FFF93B060 [3515] ERROR: Flash: Failed to retreive device info from 192.xx.xx.xx . . .
  4. I received mine early this week but haven't got to use it as much as I would like, but here are comments: - the loss of the hard buttons for transport is really tough. Onscreen play/pause/ff for video (esp. as a TiVo user) is not good. SR-260 is better - no backlight for the hard buttons. I imagine I'll eventually learn them, but the power/mute/home story have been a mystery so far. - I don't know why they couldn't get a [4] red icon for the homescreen. It was not intuitive that the icon they chose takes you there. - form/speed are wonderful. It feels good in the hand and seems reliable/tight. - $600 is too much for this remote, as everyone is saying.
  5. I'm having the same trouble. I have a WMS10-2-ZP. Running OS3.1. I've tried both the C4 (2015)and Cardaccess (2009) drivers. Power on holding button, wait 10 seconds, get solid red+green. Light goes out. Then start getting 2 green flashes, followed by long green, repeats forever. Open identify dialog in Composer 3.1, choose Mesh, hit button 4 times. No change in lights Hit button 13 times, get nearly simultaneous flashing red and green. Hit button 4 times, no change, still flashing red and green.
  6. The system has the native C4 Z-wave controller and USB dongle. A Schlage door lock BE468 is installed at working locally. The door is too far from the dongle to see it directly, so we added a leviton dimmer, DZPD3, in between. Simply adding the dimmer is failing. It says it succeeds, but it does not populate the address in network connections and mouse-over shows "disconnect" greyed out. The adding process on the switch is: hold down for 7 seconds, wait til flashing amber, tap, wait... flashes green, stops, flashes 3 greens. C4 shows two messages: second one being "configuration completed successfully on device zwave:fc4042ef:0f". There is a green node in the available devices tree, mouse-over shows "driver is disabled". The repeater functionality seems to be working, somewhat, though because I can now try to add the Schlage. It fails because it "joined network insecurely". Is this because its using a repeater that is not, itself, secure? EA-5, OS3 EA-1 is where dongle is connected
  7. I bought the drivercentral "generic TCP" driver ($30) and set up 3 dummy relay switches in the bathroom for 3 different users and was able to send the URL (via "programming"). It works reliably and is much quicker to respond than the DTV+ touchscreens (which I'm not impressed with). This requires composer/dealer access, but only took 30 min to get working. The URLs I used were of the form: http://192.168.xx.xx/start_user.cgi?user=1 http://192.168.xx.xx/stop_user.cgi
  8. I'm using the IP driver 3/4/5 dated 5/12/2014 and the back button does not work. The driver only allows PREV to be mapped to "enter/enter_last/livetv". If you map one of the color buttons to BACK, nothing happens when you hit it. Is there some other version of the TiVO IP driver? [ edit ] Of course there is another driver. There were some threads elsewhere claiming BACK button couldn't work, but if you search drivers.control4.com and download the Romio 3+ driver (5/18/2016), it offers full configurability and you can set PREV to send BACK command. Why that isn't the default, I don't know. Worked for me.
  9. The C4 IR blast bud for this player has to be very carefully placed. I tried the location pictured but it did not work. I eventually just held it and clicked around until the blue-lite activity indicator started flashing and placed it lower and slightly right of where pictured.
