Due to chip shortages over COVID they had to re-engineer the doorstations to use a different chipset. Hikvision is still working on their custom firmware for the new revision doorstations. The driver will work for all PTZ cameras for Hikvision regardless of model.

This won't be the same as the previous model. As the previous one had Smart By Bond built in. means you don't need a bond bridge. Sounds like this one you do and Bond bridge is just learning the remote RF codes.

The DUALR3 doesn't have DIY mode so it would rely on eWeLink which is a cloud based API. If you require two relays for your shades i would suggest looking at the Shely Plus 2PM https://www.shelly.com/en-au/products/shop/shelly-plus-2-pm

Good question. I don't have an answer to this. We implemented the light on ratgdo's ESPHome firmware. You should reach out to Paul from ratgdo to see how the light works for remote light switches. Personally though i would just use any Control4 integrated light switch and get the ratgdo driver to turn the light on and off. Feedback is instant so it'll work nicely.

The camera is a MyQ product only. As such ratgdo can't talk to it as It does not talk security + 1.0 or security + 2.0. We recommend replacing the camera with a Control4 integrable camera. Have done some major updates over the past few weeks for the ratgdo Control4 driver. New features include Ability to programatically move to a specific garage door position Discrete Open and Close commands for supported models (not all garage door models support open and close commands. Some only do toggle). No Programming Automatic Push and Email Notifications (set through driver properties) for Garage Door Open Garage Door Close Garage Door Still Open (variable time defined in driver properties) Event on 'Garage Door Still Open'. Can be used to fire off an audio announcement or other programming (use the properties for email and push notifications as this is quicker for notifications). The driver is pretty much feature complete now. However if any of you have any suggestions please let me know.

I managed to figure out how to do the percentage open functionality. Have implemented it as a one way command in the driver's commands. This is so that i don't break the existing native Control4 garage door opener user experience that we have tied into. Have also implemented discrete open and close functionality as well for supported models. Please test this out in ESPHome first to ensure you have discrete open and close before implementing in Control4.

We do track the percentage however we only utilise that for feedback so that you do not need to install a reed swirch. The driver does not support setting the door to a specific position.

The best you can do is 24 hours before due to the data returned. That's a long time to have your hearing element on for in my opinion.

No. That is only licencing. Licencing is designed to persist the last state if it cannot contact the licencing server. This is important for jobs where there are sporadic or no internet connections (eg yacht or government facilities).

Glad you enjoy it. The nice thing about it is that it is local control and as such internet or MyQ service disruptions do not effect it. I have some ideas on how to improve the driver that I will add in coming weeks.

Systems in the United states are usually seperate systems that are controlled in a pretty dumb way with a smart thermostat. The logic to turn on and off these systems are within the thermostat itself. Systems outside of the United States have essentially a user interface device that controls the HVAC system and also provides the HVAC system with a local room temperature. As such wiring is usually proprietary to that manufacturer. In terms of the actual HVAC system operation it can be a mix of gas and electricity though in Victoria, Australia new builds must be electricity only. As such new systems tend to be inverter based. Could go on more but to be honest I'm not a HVAC guy. We just do lots of HVAC integration. Hope that helps.

Looks like you are in Australia. Would recommend you install a Fujitsu AnywAir controller (it is a touchscreen on the wall). Once AnywAir is setup then it is Control4 compatible with the following driver. https://chowmain.software/drivers/control4-fujitsu-anywair
