  1. Just went through it. You may know this but it requires you to: -be on at least 2.10.6 -install new drivers, which includes the apple bridge driver for homekit It went very smoothly. I was on 2.9 and jumped all the way to 3.1, which meant downloading the new iOS app for Control4. Performance seems pretty great for me. Handheld remote response is super quick. The only downside is latency with the new iOS app. Not pleased with that though I don’t think the Apple TV driver is to blame. Good luck
  2. For sale in good working condition: 1 - 16AMP3-B - $400 1 - AVM-16S1-B - $200 1 - AVM-TUN1B AM/FM/XM - $40 1 - HC1000 - $? 1 - Original Media Controller - $? I’m in the Salt Lake City area. I also have one of those sweet Knox 16x16 Component Matrix Switches if anyone is interested.
  3. I'm running into a problem activating a license on a new computer. I understand that I need to log into my.control4.com dealer account and remove an old computer before adding this new one. I'm at my limit. However the interface seems to have changed and I can't seem to figure out how to see the computer names, and those specifically assigned to my login. My login shows our whole dealer account with all of the users in one tab, and all of the devices (composer, iOS devices, etc) in another tab. The devices tab doesn't show computer names though or which user they are associated with. I used to be able to select myself and it would show the computers with currently active composer licenses. I can't find anything like that now. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  4. This is going to dig deep in some people's memory. I'm trying to update an HC200B from 1.7.4 to 1.8.2. This is a new in box controller that I've never had a use for up to now. I've tried the update manager using both the standard update method using the internet, as well as creating an upgrade USB stick. In both instances, the upgrade hangs right at the beginning, never getting past 0 of 9. The logs seem to indicate that it is just looping on the same tasks forever. I let it run like this for 24 hours with no luck. Not sure if it would help to upload the entire log, but below is some of the trouble I see from the Update log. Any recommendations? 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Disk space avail = 290111488 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/preupgrade_1.8.2.66691_all.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/kernel-cougar_2.6.28.10-rc8.55_armv5x.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/kernel-modules-cougar_2.6.28.10-rc8.55_armv5x.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/c4drivers_1.8.2.66691_armv5x.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/ami-addon_1.8.2.66691_armv5x.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/excel-announcements_1.8.2.66691_all.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/system-version_1.8.2.66691_all.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/rootfs-hc200_1.8.2.66691_armv5x.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/rootfs-image-hc200_1.8.2.66691 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Spawned process for downloading packages started. 02/07/2017 22:32:19 13216 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Unable to open file /packages/preupgrade_1.8.2.66691_all.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Found usb file at location:/media/usb/69FA30F2 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Attempting to get package preupgrade at location preupgrade_1.8.2.66691_all.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Removing file /packages/preupgrade_1.8.2.66691_all.deb.md5sum for MD5 check. 02/07/2017 22:32:19 cp -f "/media/usb/69FA30F2/preupgrade_1.8.2.66691_all.deb" "/packages" 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Retrieved package preupgrade from usb stick 02/07/2017 22:32:19 Make Package Readable to all and Not Executable to all with command: chmod a-x+r /packages/preupgrade_1.8.2.66691_all.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:20 Attempting to get package kernel-cougar at location kernel-cougar_2.6.28.10-rc8.55_armv5x.deb 02/07/2017 22:32:20 Removing file /packages/kernel-cougar_2.6.28.10-rc8.55_armv5x.deb.md5sum for MD5 check. 02/07/2017 22:32:20 cp -f "/media/usb/69FA30F2/kernel-cougar_2.6.28.10-rc8.55_armv5x.deb" "/packages"
  5. Thanks! Looks like I have 3 white dimmers to trade for 3 white switches. I'll have to post that later.
  6. I have a few dimmers that now have fans and lights on the same leg. I'm rusty/lazy... Is there an easy way to program the dimmer so that it will always function as a switch? More than just setting the ramp rate to zero, I want to make sure push and hold doesn't cause it to ramp either.
  7. I'm still on 1.7.4 but I've seen a some HC-200B's for sale recently with 2.x licenses. I have a fairly basic system (3 zones of distributed video and audio). I've supported myself fine with a single HC-200 for the last four years. I manage a humble music collection (<7000 songs) and an average movie collection (<200 movies). My system is AV management only (no lighting, security, etc). I understand that HC-200B's can be masters in 2.x. My thought was to buy one of these and finally make the move to 2.x. Does anyone have an opinion on how i would fair with a system of this size, with an HC-200B, and 2.x? Do the 200's and 300's alone really suffer with 2.x?
  8. I'm missing a battery covers for my SR150 and System Remote v2. Anyone have spares?
  9. Anyone see a problem with the skip forward and skip back commands when playing a DVD file? They work during BR playback but not during DVD playback.
  10. I did find one flaw that I am in the process of fixing. With a remotely located Wii you will need to have a local USB connection for peripherals like rockband, etc. This is an easy fix, but something to consider.
  11. Awesome! You've come a long way since the temporary set-up in Daybreak! That's an epic bar. ...This talk about matrix switches makes me remember when that newbie cut all of your 30+ video wires without labeling first. Even you joined in on the fun on that one!
  12. 1)Can anyone comment on the issues encountered running it through an AVR? 2)Is there a fix to the driver that could allow bluray iso files to be selected from the C4 Navigator?
