  1. Verified this is a workaround. If they aren't going to fix the bug, you should be able to force a scheduled update, which might be a good idea anyway. I don't know how often it updates, and the channel list is dynamic enough at SiriusXM that it would be a worthwhile improvement if the list doesn't update automatically on a frequent basis. Some of the pop-up channels (like the Coronavirus station or holiday stations) are ones that might make it to a favorites list...
  2. Good to know they still respond even though they don't seem to be actively pushing the driver anymore. My HC-800 isn't going to last forever and I want to be able to get a new license when I need it for a new Director. I am going to dig into the programming again but don't want to go to all the trouble if it is going to be short-lived. My old BI server crashed and I'm just re-doing from scratch instead of trying to find a config backup. I just had basic stuff like showing if a door was locked or the alarm was on in an overlay. EDIT: almost forgot I used the AO web support portal to open a ticket 9 MONTHS ago, I asked for status numerous times, and they never responded at all. So yeah, don't waste any time with that, just call. How quaint.
  3. Old thread, but I get that same "URL obscured" message and that doesn't prevent the AO driver from working for me for BI4 or BI5. I think you might have a setting issue somewhere. Setup has gotten a little more involved with the randomization of the password forced by the CA law change.
  4. What's the latest consensus on BI5 vs BI4 and the Audio Obsessions driver? @eggzlot did you get your profile changes issue sorted? My BI server crashed quite a while ago and I just got it back up, everything basic is working with BI5 and AO, but I haven't even gotten into advanced programming yet.
  5. I didn't try that. I will give that a shot. Even if this works, it's still a bug I think...
  6. Is anyone else seeing the SIriusXM favorites constantly disappearing and requiring a manual refresh at least every few days? I can understand having to refresh if the favorites change and it loses sync, but it should keep the list and not just lose it. A workaround could be to schedule a sync, but I don't know how to do that or if it is possible.
  7. Update: Control4 did an RMA and both new touchscreens are flawless and have never locked up. Bizarre. I would have suspected defective equipment from the start except both units had the same issues and if I had seen anyone with similar problems on here.
  8. I don't think Fing cares about the lease time...

    Geofencing

Since nobody responded, did you search on Geofencing throughout the forum? Unfortunately I have tried many solutions and nothing is solid. There are still a couple of things that others have suggested that I haven't tried, but I'm getting tired of throwing money and time and something that should be a core feature of a HA system and still not getting good results.
  10. I haven't had good luck with IFTTT by itself, or with Fing combined with IFTTT. I think the problem is IFTTT is not designed for multiple users. Maybe I'm missing something.
  11. Another developer with a geofencing solution gone? And still nothing that works reliably that I've found. I thought I could use Fing and IFTTT, but for now I'm getting false results at random times.
  12. Seems to apply to the attitude towards Control4 obsolescence as well. https://www.wired.co.uk/article/sonos-outrage-legacy-speakers
  13. No idea, but I'd like to know also. It sounds like Flo has monthly recurring costs (which doesn't prevent you from getting nuked by an API change obviously?) I'd rather not invest $300 in the add-on module if I can buy a whole different system at a comparable cost.
  14. I think it is odd that Moen promotes the Control4 functionality on their main page for this but then left the driver writers high and dry when they changed the API. Why does that happen in this day and age?
  15. Can't see enough icons if you utilize Favorites in a room. Icons are too large on an iPhone 11 for example. Make them configurable or 3/4 to 1/2 the size. No reason for them to be that large. Much better experience on a large tablet where I can see many more icons without scrolling.
  16. Have you looked at Flologic? They have a new module that makes it a hybrid cloud/on-prem device. At least I think that is how it works, I haven't added the module yet. Impressive it will work on a system I installed years ago.
  17. In case anybody reads this as you can only have one Alexa device per group, you actually can have multiple devices per group, you just can't have a device in more than one group. In my case, I did this because I have a large open area with two different Alexa devices. For voice purposes, I've combined what is three rooms in Control4 into one Alexa group. So no matter which device picks up my command, I don't end up with the incorrect loads turning on. I might have more loads than I want, but that is better than the wrong ones. YMMV.
  18. Should have known you would ask me that. I was doing a lot of stuff on C4 that day and it is a blur. I think when you do this you are going down the road of a conflict in whether you get the C4 room name or the Alexa room name if you try voice commands using the rooms. So you have Alexa group names that match C4 room names and have no issues?
  19. I think some of this functionality is fairly new, I don't remember being able to designate loads as switches or lights when I last played with this a few months ago. But I discovered this a couple of weeks ago. I also found that I have voice command conflicts if I don't add "Alexa" or "Amazon" (or whatever) to the group names. Something to differentiate it from the Control4 room name somehow. If I'm wrong about this and there is a better workaround, I would love to go back to naming the groups just the actual room name.
  20. Yeah, it has been long enough ago I don't remember why the dealer left it there. It's basically a spare right now as far as I can tell. I only needed one probe in that location, and that unused probe was in a better location to get a good picture...
  21. I ended up cutting off an old probe from a long discontinued Eaton home monitoring product, and it seemed to work fine during brief testing.
  22. Thanks Cyknight, that's the type of sensor I was finding in my search but it looks nothing like the ones being used around my house (see picture), so I wasn't sure how picky this particular component was, plus the one you linked to seems like overkill compared to the basic one I have. Like you say, it could just be a homemade pair of wires.
  23. Good luck with the zero latency on most TVs...the display device is the issue more than the cabling.
  24. It should be capable of video, I believe you get a ringtone at the TS but I can't remember how that was setup.
