  1. Thank you very much. I’ll go with CA-1 then since I only need to offload the ZigBee devices. My understanding CA-1 will be able to handle another 70 on its mesh network.
  2. I have 98 ZigBee devices running off one EA-5 ZigBee server (mainly light switches and dimmers). I am seeing a warning that I'm over recommended mesh 70 limit and performance will be degraded. Is adding something like an EA-1 controller would be the best way to add another mesh controller to the network and distribute the load between the 2 ZigBee servers this way? Thank you.
  3. Were you able to solve this? Mine is stuck on the same "No Command" after factory reset. Thank you.
  4. Same issue here. One of the T3 10" is now stuck in Control4 splash screen. The "Network Configuration" shows "NONE" instead of "Ethernet" like others. There is no IP assigned.
  5. This actually makes sense. Because I saw this issue come and go with different C4 releases.
  6. Yeah, most likely. This issue went away in some releases and then came back in others. So, I kind of learned to live with it. I have Panasonic IP cameras and using generic driver (see the attached image). These are my cameras: Panasonic WV-SW355 Panasonic WV-SW314/WV-SW316 Panasonic i-Pro WV-SF135 Panasonic i-Pro WV-SW155 If anyone knows of a better driver, please feel free to chime in.
  7. I have it constantly crash on my iPhone and iPad Pro. Usually, about 30-45 seconds after viewing the camera feeds. Running the latest software on all platforms.
  8. For some reason my update to 3.2.3 hasn't caught it. Is there a way to re-apply this update or fix it in some other way?
  9. Thank you for your response. Where can I get this tiny firmware update?
  10. Thank you. My IO Extender has been online all this time. I am able to delete and re-add it back to the EA-5 controller. The ethernet lights are on. I am able to identify it with the "Link" button. Also, it's been working fine up until OS 3.2.3 update and then the Serial ports just stop sending commands right after this update.
  11. I had multiple issues with T3, more with 7" screens than 10", though. It starts with a partial touch loss, then out of calibration issues, then more screen space stops responding.
  12. I had 3 out of 7 fail - one T3 7" and both 10" tabletops (C4-TT10-BL). One T3 7" has partial screen working. And, of course, this happened after the warranty has run out. Sticking with iPads in the future.
  13. My C4-IOX-E-B (V1) stopped working after OS 3.2.3 update.
  14. Well, I've just updated to OS 3.2.3 and my IO Extender (V1) stopped working. I can still re-add and re-link it to the project, the Update Manager still shows the same message as before (attached), but the blinds connected through Serial 1 no longer work. If I connect them to another serial port (EA-5 controller), everything works as expected. If anyone has any idea why OS 3.2.3 would cause this and what can be done, if anything, to make it work again, I'd truly appreciate it.
  15. Hi everyone. I've recently connected an older I/O Extender to my system running OS 3.1.3. The update manager shows everything up-to-date except the I/O Extender (see attached image). The latter says "Unknown Version" and status "Connecting". Is there anything I can do here in order to update to the latest available version? Thank you.
  16. My update manager shows "Connecting" status for the IO extender (see attached). Is this also normal?
  17. I have the same issue with the T3 tabletops (10") touchscreens not responding to touch. I've already replaced one under warranty before, but the second one started showing the same symptoms right after the warranty has expired. Hard resetting does nothing. Some in-wall T3s also have issues. One of mine starts just "jumping around" menu options on its own. Another one always wants to take me to the "Add to Favorites" menu no matter what I press. I've tried to reset them as well, but the problems come back a few mins after reboot. Overall, I'd say I am very disappointed with the C4 T3 screens and wish there was a way to replace them with the integrated iPads without losing functionality.
  18. All my iOS devices crash consistently within a few seconds of watching cameras over Wi-Fi. These are the red flags I see in the log. Not sure if they are related to the crash. Please let me know if you guys have any ideas what can be done about this: Director Version: 2.10.5.554707-res 2018-12-22 7:27:27.402-0800 Control4 INFO: Application is Active. 2018-12-22 7:27:27.460-0800 Control4 WARN: C4Database Error: 1 (1), Message: no such table: lighting_scenes 2018-12-22 7:27:27.462-0800 Control4 WARN: C4Database Error: 1 (1), Message: no such table: room_lighting_scenes 2018-12-22 7:27:27.465-0800 Control4 WARN: C4Database Error: 1 (1), Message: no such table: lighting_scenes 2018-12-22 7:27:27.468-0800 Control4 WARN: C4Database Error: 1 (1), Message: no such table: room_lighting_scenes ... 2018-12-22 7:27:27.986-0800 Control4 INFO: Unable to get all scene id/name pairs. 19. Same here. Haven't been able to use cameras on my iOS devices for a few months now. What a disappointment. No help from support either. I'm running the latest of everything - iOS, Control4 OS, etc. This happens only when accessing IP camera feeds.
  20. It's a major drawback that Nest Protect doesn't communicate motion sensing via its API. I could buy more Nest Protects and put them in each room instead of buying additional motion sensors.
  21. Why not if this is a one-way transmission only, e.g. simplex serial communication? There is no feedback from URTSI II module to the controller.
  22. OK. I've finally got it working. The wiring diagram that's floating around the net was outdated. I am attaching the corrected one that worked for me with the latest EA-5 controller. Hopefully, it will help others.
  23. I am using this driver from Cinegration LLC https://www.drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/blinds-shades/somfy-blind-driver-v2-proxy/
  24. My understanding one can go with RS232 serial connection as long as there is 1) only one URTSI module and 2) the cable length is under 50ft. My Somfy URTSI II is only ~6 ft. away from the controller, so the length should not be an issue.
  25. Hi, I have a bunch of Somfy RTS shades enrolled into URTSI II module. Everything works as expected. However, I can't get the URTSI to respond when connected to the EA-5 controller serial port. I am using the following wiring RS232 diagram with only one URTSI module http://www.automatedshadeinc.com/files/automation/control4_somfy_zigbee_pinout1.pdf. The drivers are from https://www.drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/blinds-shades/somfy-blind-driver-v2-proxy/ and have been set up according to their instructions (see attached). However, no matter what shade command I send from ComposerPro interface, the URTSI doesn't respond at all (i.e. the green light never blinks). At the same time, I am able to control shades from URTSI II module itself without any issues. I've verified that serial ports on my EA-5 are working. Logically, seems like this is a cable issue, but I've checked it against the diagram like 10 times already and can't figure out what's wrong. Control4 OS: 2.10 Any idea what else I may try? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
