Apple announced "Homekit" which is a common network protocol that will let users control their smart locks, lights, cameras, doors, thermostats, plugs, and switches from one app with secure pairing to ensure only your iOS device works. I think this would be great for the Home Automation industry because it will bring basic control to end users...so when they decide to step up, we could sell them Control4. What do you guys think? Threat or opportunity??
