  1. Have two core1. Rest of house is ea other than ca10 running everything.
  2. Same issue here. Two T4s. Horrible. C4 regional rep coming to our home. Repeated issues with Core 1, all neeos dying. Two new T4s bad IMG_3388.mov IMG_3387.mov
  3. Honeywell vista. Avoid DMP at all costs. Their stuff is junk and burns batteries.
  4. Prob once/year or less (once every other year) i have to reboot the ruckus epic 5. But v rare.
  5. If you use dchp you just plug in new router. If you assign IPs then you have to reprogram new router. So why again do you use static ips?
  6. Why would C4 need to assign any IPs? I don’t think we have any static IPs for C4 stuff and our system working fine. Original installer had static ips for Apple TVs and we upgraded the Apple TVs — they weren’t working so I just removed the static ip. They get assigned and all fine. We’ve a boatload of devices and all of it works.
  7. IAqualink works pretty well with control4. That said, pool automation is 1980s technology at best. Very expensive and firmware not upgradable OTA. So C4 with iAqualink fairly good (can manage heat and pump and temp and other basic functions) but the rate limiting step is iAqualink which is boxy and clunky and temperamental (can lock up and only response from Jandy is “power cycle”).
  8. Sorry didn’t know that. Agree. They should update the firmware. I was furious when my 510 stopped working. As I’ve stated ad nauseum they rebadge Hik and charge 3x. Should be margin to sort your firmware. If not they should replace the NVR for free.
  9. Our luma 510 works now fyi. Yes browser wouldn’t work (chrome) for a year or so but now does. I know we had our nvr and camera firmware updated about a year or two ago (was when they marketed 3-stream capability — didn’t work —then C4 updated the firmware to allow cameras to provide what they had marketed — three streams). Not sure if it was that that fixed it but now works in chrome for us.
  10. Correct. As I said we have Luma in one home and Hik in another. Both C4. Luma app slightly better than Hik but if in C4 ecosystem, with the very fat margin C4 gets, the app should be fantastic and user friendly. It isn't.
  11. Given Luma is just hikvision rebranded at 3x the price, snapAV should at least provide first rate app. Mine is better than hikivision’s (I used apple iPhone ) but still luma markup is absurd and YOUR DEALER SHOULD FIX. If they won’t that is bs as they’re benefitting from the 3x markup and these apps should work.
  12. Added media room and another tv so needed 2 core 1s (they don’t offer ea1 anymore)
  13. What is bunk? Core 1 was a mess for us. OSD issues and locking up. That is real not bunk. Time will tell if 3.3.3 sorts. But one of main marketing points for Core was crisp 4k OSD — which didn’t work!
  14. Thx but I want direct to C4. I don’t mess with hub-to-c4 for anything (except some color led lights which work w c4 by design). There should be many devices which work w c4 zigbee but there, um, aren’t. These look nice but they’re not for outdoors https://www.axxind.com/product/wireless-motion-sensor/
  15. Found this using Google (I’m not a dealer just end user) https://www.control4.com/docs/product/control4-software/dealer-release-notes/english/latest//control4-software-release-notes-rev-ap.pdf
  16. I mean these https://www.control4.com/solutions/products/sensors/ Work outside under eaves and no longer produced yet on website. There is no replacement. Believe me i and my dealer have looked.
  17. My pleasure. And no noticeable speed increase. In fact less fast if you count the downtime from locking up and failing on OSD.
