Interesting - they removing the ability already to register projects in Composer pushing to the new subscription model. From what I can see/read even with the upgrade it wont affect current systems that have already been registered its for net new registered projects.
Correct. Even registering an existing used Core/EA won’t need to use Connect…

That is correct that you never provided me a quote, as my intention was just to mention you used AV Edge Pro over two years ago, March 2022. Are you still using that product?
I still use their products, yes, no recently but they make great products

Do I just leave the current C4 AC Fan Switch as is when the Modern Forms fan is installed by the electrician?
Any direction you can guide me to that summarizes the current C4 light switch offerings, as my switches were installed around 9 years ago?
Would make life simpler if C4 had a DC fan switch, similar to the AC Fan switch.
No, you don't use a fan switch. That is to control an old school fan. I would personally just use a dummy non-control 4 switch or a keypad something like that.

I have a zigen used one that I wrote an IP driver for. Happy to sell that to you and give you the driver

And a fix for some Spotify issues

Pretty sure I never quoted you a price on anything...

In composer there is an option to disconnect buttons which means you can use as a 2 button keypad

What C4 light switch needs to be spec’d for Modern Forms fans? As my current fan is AC wired to a C4 fan switch. Would a programmable KCB switch work? As I just need forward direction for High, Med, Low, Off. As the remaining two buttons I would prefer to program for music (on 1 tap/off 2 tap), and the 6th as volume up and down.
I’m not sure what you mean…the modern form fan uses WiFi and connects to Control4 natively. You can then control it via any keypad, app, etc….

Cause fortinet bought meru who was super and wrapped it in better smb management and has a much wider footprint

That and the "nobody ever got fired for buying IBM" corporate mentality. Cisco is always a safe bet for networking. Even if they had lots of problems no one would get in trouble or question why you would go with Cisco.
That mentality is changing. But it still doesn't me I would pick unify. I would pick fortinet before unifi

Name one university or corporate environment that choose unifi over ruckus or Cisco

No. We can stop there…
So you think unifi is as good as ruckus?

And if you are comparing unifi to ruckus that's like comparing Toyota to an Aston martin...

yes the chime does, Unifi won’t allow it.
Sorry. Didn't understand what you meant the first time

So you mean the changes were done outside the stand alone Roku box?
From my update screen it says the last update was in January. That would imply no changes were made to the box’s firmware.
100% changes were made since January. That is the major version update.

How do these changes occur without an update? Or is Roku lying by not changing version number when doing "stealth" upgrades?
Version is really platform - there are a lot of updates that occur that are sub-components that don’t increase the platform number

start by learning what an API is, then learn any language to understand the concepts of programming, then come back to Control4 API
-
Reboot it and check for updates

no, that is only partially right. You have a project on a EA now and you upgrade to a NIB core, you will have to subscribe to connect. Connect requirement is about when the hardware was first registered.
