  1. I have an open plan area which contains 3 rooms (TV area, dining and kitchen). There is one TV and it can be seen from all 3 of those rooms and I was hoping to make the TV available and controllable from each of those rooms. Each room has its own Sonos endpoint so when watching the TV in the kitchen, the sound would come through the speakers in kitchen, watching from the dining then it would be from those speakers and the TV area has the Sonos soundbar. With Sonos I can group speakers but how do I get the TV to appear and be controllable from each of the other 2 rooms. I have seen the Room Control driver being talked about so I am guessing that may help, but how would I set that up so you can press 'Watch TV' or something from the kitchen and it will turn on the TV in the TV area and the speakers in the kitchen. Ideally I would like to keep the 3 areas as separate rooms as they have their own audio space, lights, curtains etc. Thanks for any advice
  2. Great, thanks, DM'ing you now! As I guessed, I was unlucky as I just found the order, 15th March 2019 so exactly when they stopped selling
  3. It is the Reolink driver and I contacted SnapAV as they took over Houselogix which is where I purchased it from as I understood that they took over everything related to the purchases. I believe you guys are the creators but did not think you had any control over the licenses, otherwise I would have happily bought it from you directly! I think I was really unlucky as I bought it not long before Houselogix was moved to SnapAV.
  4. Agreed, but if you buy a Samsung TV from Amazon and Amazon closed, you would still be able to use that TV and even get support for it. Houselogix were just the supplier, they didn't create the driver. Is there no way of setting it so that the license key at least stays working until you change controller, even if you then can't activate it on a new controller?
  5. I tried contact Snap as well but they told me Houselogix is no more and they cannot help me. So what happens with the licenses that we bought last year, do we have to buy again through BlackWire effectively buying twice. Seems a little wrong.
  6. Thanks for the incredibly quick response! I did try that (and just tried it again) but it still does not work. I have had to do that many times over the last few months, is there a reason for that? Could it be that the license server is still down?
  7. Msgreenf, I bought this driver from Houselogix last year, but obviously they are no more. The license now says invalid so how do I keep it working please. I would guess that even though Houselogix have gone, the license key would be yours so are you able to advise what to do please? I did try the support button on your website but that did not work either. Thanks
  8. Is there a way of having 2 lights track and follow each others level? Ideally both ways so that if one is changed the other follows, but the second one changes the first will follow. I have CBUS lighting (with buttons) and some Hue bulbs and I would like it so that if you change the level of the Hue in Control4 it updates the CBUS level (so that you can see it on the touchscreen) and vice versa. That way I can turn the lights on / off and up / down from either the CBUS side or the Control4 / Hue side and they will match each other. I did some programming to say that if the level changes then set the other level to match but it means that the light levels bounce up and down, especially if you hold down one of the CBUS buttons to dim smoothly. Hopefully that makes some sense to someone! Thanks
  9. Yes, that is what I had to do already. I liked the dedicated mode as the iPads are on removable charging stands and when they are sitting on them charging, they run the Control4 app. Then when they are removed so that someone can use the internet or Spotify or something else, it means they have to remember to turn off the iPad or it will just stay on until it runs out of battery.
  10. I too really miss this as it was really handy that it stopped the iPad going to sleep so was more like the C4 touchscreen. I have an iPad in every room as a remote and to keep turning it back on is a nuisance. Also, you could leave it on the cameras and see if someone was coming up the drive. The guided access is more to keep the iPad in one app but does not keep the screen turned on. Anyone know if the dedicated mode is hidden somewhere? Roo
