how to setup favorite channels?

I am new to programming C4 and need a little help setting up my favorite channels. When I go to Media and look under Broadcast...all I see is FM/AM Radio, Cable TV, UHF/VHF, and Internet Radio. I do not see my cable box, Motorola driver for Verizon Fios. When I was at the training we did this with a DirecTV driver and a Favorites option was there and it was very simple. How do I go about this with my cable box? Thanks for any and all help!
