Just wanted to post some feedback on the choice to install Gaposa shade motors. There are many shade motor options out there. I have Somfy wired in most rooms but wanted to motorize the existing shades in my bedrooms. Feedback from this forum was to go battery and not destroy my walls to hardwire existing shades. My shade installer recommended Gaposa motors. I reached out to this forum for feedback some time ago (can't find the post). No one, including me had heard of them. So far, my installer was right. They are quieter than my hard wired somfy shades and the speed seems just about the same. The cost was less than somfy and lutron per motor and I kept my existing shade material. I called Gaposa tech support a couple of times for something - They answered the phone right away and made quick work of my plight. Thanks to @chopedogg88 for talking me into the Bondbridge. Now I can get rid of the URTSI and step into 2022.

Thanks everyone. It looks like all I needed to do was reprogram the one channel on the URTSI. Very strange and not sure how that happened. Also decided to go w/ battery shades. Opening up the walls could be like opening a can of worms.

I have three questions in order of priority. Using OS 3.3 on my EA-5 1) My shades stopped working in only one room. I'm currently using Somfy motors hardwired (not battery) and integrated with the URTSI in the Media, Dining and Living Rooms. All shades work except the Livingroom via control4. All shades including the ones that don't work with Control4 work with the Somfy remote. Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot? 2nd question) This one I'm sure is subjective but here goes: The master and guest bedrooms have manual shades that I'm considering adding motors to. Should I stick w/ Somfy motors because I already have the URTSI? My installer says Gaporsa are great and definitely compete with Lutron as far as price, quality, speed and sound. I'm guessing that would require adding another unit in addition to the URTSI. 3rd subjective question) I'm on a slab with no attic. Is it worth it to open the walls to get power to the new motors? Battery powered ones appear to be more expensive, slower and louder.

Hi All, I'm still on Version 180 of Ari's driver. Alexa is still responding with "driver isn't responding" since November to a few of my commands. Now, I just came back from a week trip and now receiving "I'm not quite sure what went wrong" to many more of my frequent commands. I'd be grateful for any help as I use the Echo primarily with Control4.

Back in March of 2020, support@epic-systems.com suggested I stay with v1.80 of the driver if I had a Gen 1 echo or dot. Do we know if that's still the case? I'm still having problems turning on the receiver in the man cave (garage).

If I'm the only one, then I may have other issue. I've narrowed it down to one command it just happens to be the only command I would issue in that location. I've asked Alexa to turn on Garage Sonos for years. Not sure why it all of the sudden is not working.

Anyone else having this problem or have a solution. I sent two emails to Ari <sales@epic-systems.com> with no response.

I'm getting the "device isn't responding please check the network and power supply" response with a couple of my frequent commands. This is with the Epic-System driver. I've sent discovery and nothing new was found. The IP address of the Echo has not changed. Most of my commands that I use daily work but two of my rooms have this problem. Any insight on what may have happened or suggestions for a remedy? Epic-Systems driver v1.80 C4 - 2.10
