I was just hoping to get some used up-to-date equipment on eBay or the Buy/Sell on c4forums and hiring someone local to get it hooked up. The dealers here are probably twice or thrice the price compared to USA. (I'm from Canada)

Hi everybody! I started my C4 journey on this sub and actually bought all my equipment for my (then) new house back around 2011. Since then, my components have slowly been dying, working infrequently. I have an HC-800 controller, 8 zone speaker amp for upstairs (works), 4 zone amp (stopped working a few years ago so no music in bar , zigbee lock (doesnt connect to c4), and bunch of light switches of course. Thankfully the 8 zone can handle enough because we don't use the bar that much anyways. I was just having some nostalgia remembering all the cool things that I used to do with C4, (I havent been able to login to the system in years, so no new scenes etc) I don't want to have c4 interface on my tv's, it was a nightmare back when I installed and I'm okay with just using the tv normally Anyways, long story short... I would love it if you could help me with this question. What are some simple ways I could upgrade my system and get everything up to date?

Hi everyone, so my hc-800 isn't working properly anymore as it's on older firmware and my dealer says it cannot handle the load of the home by itself so recommends I get a new ea3 or EA5 system and the hc800 can serve as a secondary controller. Let me know if anyone has any of these controllers or if another solution may be better.
