  1. I can translate them myself but since I want the labels printed of the physical knx buttons to match those that the control4 app shows - I thought it would save a lot of time if I skipped the translation phase... but I might need to resort to that... Is it possible to extract all the button "names" (not sure what the correct term is) from the ets file so I will be able to explain its one? Dror
  2. Looking to import a knx project into control4. but most of the entries in the project file (ets file that is zipped that holds *.pr5 file) are in hebrew so I need someone that can understand those entries. thanks, Dror 0547335656
  3. thanks for all the help, I'll contact my delaer and try to sort this mess
  4. one more thing (not sure if it makes a difference or not) - my controller is EA3
  5. did the reboot. Status didn't change. still check in is at 2017. BTW the device that shows up under my controller has the right mac (of the new device). Is that something the dealer updated or is it information received when the device connects to the servers? thanks for the help Dror
  6. thanks @msgreenf. Is there a way to reboot via software as a normal user or should I just plug the power out? The later has happened about 3 weeks ago so I don't think it will help (but will try it again if there's no soft way). How does this explain the fact that 3 out of 5 phones work? thanks again, Dror
  7. Hi, back in 2012-2015 I used to have a system (HC-300 is I recall correctly). Recently I upgraded (meaning started from scratch) to a new EA-1 controller. Dealer installed it and everything seemed fine. Things seem to work besdies two problems(?): 1. new controller doesn't seem to check in (or at least control4 website reports last check in was in 2017 - old system). see attached screenshot. Also reported os is wrong - my controller has 3.3.0-something 2. 2 of my kids iphone's cant remote connect (both have Iphone XR). 3 other iphones (2 iphone 12 and one iphone 12 mini) connect remotely no problem. but the other two fail to get the data that shows the rooms and stuff. remote access is setup. on the website all accounts seem to be fine and identical. See another screen shot. Dealer is clueless... Any help would be greatly appreciated
  8. I'm using composerME (2.5.2). The drive doesn't appear as a "Drive". I can see my mp3 under "stored/mp3/audio" see attached image. I will test this the next time it happens but you'll have to explain to me what's a guest account and how do I authenticate it? I'm pretty sure it is stale NFS handles - but that can only be verified with control4 in the loop...
  9. my setup is composed of 3 HC250 controllers and a DroboFS that has all my music and images on it (Other servers and apps use it as well). From my experience problems usually occur when either the controllers or the DroboFS needs reboot. My guess is that when the DroboFS reboots (not very often but still...) the nfs mount in the controllers goes dead and control4 doesn't recover from that. If I had a connection to engineering there I would try and help them resolve it (don't mind being a test station). I didn't even bother reporting this in the normal channels since my guess it will be wasted time. Why problems occur after a controller reboot (more often...) - for that I don't have an explanation...
  10. it's really simple - "ssh root@YOURCONTROLLERIP PASSWORD reboot". of course replace with correct ip and password. This assumes you have a unix/mac console with ssh client installed (default). If you're using windows you'll need to install putty and configure it (quite simple but since I don't have awin machine I can't walk you through it...).
  11. Thanks for sharing (although I wold expect control4 to fix this bug months ago). My experience shows that ssh-ing to my 3 controllers and rebooting them (almost at the same time) - most of the time enables the scan. It's better for the hardware and saves me some walking...
  12. Hi, can you update if you found a solution? I'm seeing this behavior as well (although I'm not using scheduled scan). thanks
