  1. I did not receive any replies with the solution neither here nor on other forums, but I came up with a workaround and want to share it: I connected Samsung TV Connect Box to Leviton DZPA1 Z-Wave outlet switch (you can connect TV to any other controllable outlet switch or PDU) In the room where TV is, I added the following programming logic: When the variable Theater Room-> POWER_STATE changes If Room Theater Room Power is ON Turn on the Theater Room->Leviton DZPA1 If Room Theater Room Power is OFF delay 15 seconds Turn off the Theater Room->Leviton DZPA1 What I observed when TV powers on via switch/outlet for the short period of time the networking interface on Ethernet becomes active and binds IP address, at the same time Power On command which comes from the Control 4 Samsung TV driver powers TV on and it stays on! I know it is a hack, but it works and hopefully one day Samsung will fix their WOL issue with the release of the new firmware.
  2. WOL is making through the router and the switch, confirmed with LAN trace using Wireshark. Attached is the screenshot of Wireshark trace. Wireshark is running on the laptop and connected to the same switch as Samsung TV.
  3. Yes, pairing have been done. Actually if you do not pair none of the control will work, because pairing is done on L3 layer (IP stack level). In my case only "Power ON" does not work, everything else does work. IP address is DHCP reserved = static. And has been the same since I added the TV to the project. MAC is the correct one, populated in composer and belongs to Ethernet wired LAN adapter of the TV, also been verified via Wireshark trace! EXT Link support already been enabled, I enabled "USB Serial" as well based on your recommendation, but it did not make any difference, the problem still exist.
  4. Model is QN82Q90RAFXZA. Yes, the driver is set to correct MAC address. Ethernet/LAN. Went through the instructions multiple times, triple checked. Like I said after I turn TV On with native IR remote I can fully control it with any C4 interface (change the inputs, volume, turn it Off, everything works) Control via Serial Port has the same problem, Power On command does not work, but everything else does work.
  5. Unable to Power On Q series 2019 Samsung TV via IP over the LAN or Serial RS-232 interfaces. After TV is powered ON with the native IR or wireless remote I do able to fully control TV either with IP or RS-232. I verified with Wireshark that C4 Samsung TV IP driver sends Wake On LAN (WOL) packet and Power On command and the WOL packet makes through the router and the switch. "Power On with Mobile" and "IP Remote" settings on Samsung TV are enabled. Are there any settings in Samsung TV Service Menu I can change to turn off just LED panel and keep IP and Serial interfaces ON all the time ? Or any other ideas? Trying to avoid IR control if I can! Thank you.
