  1. You should just use the on event as you previously mentioned. Are you trying to control volume with set?
  2. What is the name of the trigger (that you made in the Epic driver) for the announcement? I've only used routines in Alexa to trigger routines that already work using the Epic driver (triggering a group of separate actions). If the Epic trigger is already similar to something Alexa has native, it won't work.
  3. It's the red line of the colored lines under the DVR control.
  4. Seems like everything is ok here as well. We recently switched to "brief mode" but otherwise no changes.
  5. Thanks everyone. You've given me some food for thought. One thing I worry about with these standalone options (e.g. Wallyhome) is whether they will be around in another 4 or 5 years. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. Agreed. No way. As end users we are quite lucky to have dealers (and other power users) on the board who are able to help us navigate it all. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. I've searched the forums and this hasn't been discussed that much over the years... for those with leak detection or have installed it in customer homes, what would you recommend? It would have to be wireless as I don't have outlets under my sinks. Only ones I've seen mentioned on the forums are from WallyHome, D-link (which requires an outlet but no hub), and Card Access. Thanks in advance. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks! That opened a world of programming I didn't realize was there. I was also able to reorganize the watch list on a few rooms that my dealer had set up differently from the main rooms. Much appreciated. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. Is there a .pdf file that shows the Directv button assignments on an SR260? I used to be able to get around the fact that I didn't know where the "red dot" button was by choosing delete in the menu system, but with their latest software update they have gotten rid of the menu altogether. I just need to find the red dot, which is different from record. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. Echoing the other sentiment here, I would find another dealer. You are not asking for much, and most dealers shouldn't have trouble with third party drivers that will integrate your hardware. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  11. I'm in Orlando and use Hoppen Home Systems, they are based out of Brandon/Tampa area. They have built a solid system for me. I interviewed a bunch of local dealers and decided to go with them. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  12. So I programmed the "Set" call in HE and it still doesn't work for "open." Does the Alexa Routine have to be set to any certain percentage? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
