  1. There are 3 or 4 IntelliTouch drivers out there. I think I have tried all of them.

The only one that I would recommend is the bNet Solutions driver.  It is (in my view) the best pool driver out there and has better (more complete)  integration than any other pool driver I have seen and I have seen many Pentair and other pools connected to Control4.

It is also the only IntelliTouch driver that I have seen which 100% reliably gives 2 way control to the various Pentair circuits etc.

Hmm.  I assumed that C4 doesn’t “know” or care about the relationship between HomeKit “rooms” and C4 “rooms” and, therefore, I just assign the virtual remotes to random rooms (and, generally, it seems to work for me without problem).  IIRC it doesn’t even tell you (during activation of AppleTV controls) which AppleTV you are about to “place” in a HomeKit room, so not sure how you would even do that.  That said, maybe it is bad to assign more than one AppleTV per room?  I will experiment with that.   Thanks.

I can say that I assigned all of mine to separate rooms in HomeKit.  I thought it was just me being OCD (especially as it was a pain determining which is which) but maybe doing that helped me 🤷‍♂️

Thank you for the reply.  I can remove the touchscreens from the announcement, but that is not my ideal functionality (as then you cannot see who is at the door).  And it may not be happening in the announcement itself.  When I execute the announcement from composer, the chime plays, but there is no intercom screen.  The "play door chime" option was already unchecked in all of the touchscreen properties.

Ideally the screens would show the front door video call when the doorbell is pressed (as they do now), but with no door chime volume.  I suppose I can turn off the volume on the screen call settings (on the touchscreen), but this would turn it off for all intercom calls.  Is what I'd like to do possible?

Huh!  You seem to be confusing 2 distinctly different things.

Including (or excluding) the Touchscreens in the announcement simply determines whether or not the Touchscreens play (or don’t play) your MP3 file when the doorbell is rung.

Whether or not the Toichsdreens show the vide from your doorbell camera  when the bell is pressed is determined by what Touchscreens you have included in the call (either via properties in the Chime driver or in programming  of a group call from the Chime driver).

Follow @Cyknight advice if you want to achieve what you originally asked.

  4. I guess it depends on many things including how quickly your amps turn on and how many zones you are airplaying to.

My kids use ShairBridge regularly and never complain.  I did a quick test on my system now (first time I’ve personally used ShairBridge in years) and it took me 3 seconds to hear sound (playing to 3 zones on a 12 year old amp).

Thanks.  C4 support tell me dealer that 17 should not be a problem, but I have the same concern.  I have had various glitches, but this time it is not solved by my normal approaches.  Kind of makes the remotes useless if you can’t grab and pause (or do other stuff) without waiting 5-20 seconds.  And the “time out” to loss of function is pretty fast— maybe 5 mins.

How long since this has been a real problem?  I haven’t used my Apple TVs for a few days but will make a point of using one this weekend and let you know if I see any issues.

  6. I’ve had this problem once or twice (in the four or five years since the Bridge driver was released) but it has always gone away by itself within a day or two).  Admittedly, I only have 4 or 5 Apple TVs at each of my residences.

Certain actions also cause this (eg Refresh Navigators) but I cannot think of anything that would / should cause this continuously. I wonder if the number of Apple TVs is creating an issue?

  7. Interesting!  I understand what you are saying and tried simultaneously pushing button 1 and button 2 on a six button keypad and I also got the (unexpected) double click of button 2.

I don’t think pushing two buttons together is recommended but it should not do this!  The only time I have used pushing 2 buttons at the same time is with one of the Domosapiens keypad drivers which is specifically designed to allow for pushing the up and down arrows simultaneously.
