The biggest change which might affecs a small number of users is that some drivers like the old ping driver and reboot driver are likely broken. This is a good thing because when drivers like ping ran, they blocked every driver on the controller from running for a few seconds (so, power on commands would be delayed, etc)
You'll want to ensure all your drivers are up to date if you run into issues

Due to the complexities of setting up each variable we are also implementing an admin tab within the UI to facilitate a faster setup.

I must say I like the idea of multiple instances where you can choose which variables to display in a given instance…

I can say that I assigned all of mine to separate rooms in HomeKit.  I thought it was just me being OCD (especially as it was a pain determining which is which) but maybe doing that helped me 🤷‍♂️

The rename driver is a great driver.  Unfortunately doesn’t work via programming for large projects… @msgreenf - would be great if that could be changed 😃

Another option is to insert variables into the email (eg a string with the name of the window).  I do this a lot.

The control4 one...

The Core Lite is limited to a single room. It has HDMI out and three IR/one serial port(s), and an internal Zigbee antenna. So, yes, it can function like a Core 1 for TVs, but at a less expensive price when bundled with a remote.

We've heard some stories of people with lots of 'experience buttons' just to toggle Variables on/off!
We are also releasing an update to this very soon (hopefully tomorrow), that should help you setup your projects much faster; the show/hide all Actions will be modified to allow you to show/hide all variables based on their 'Type'. For example, you could 'show all bool' then manually hide those you don't want visible.

I have one keypad where I occasionally got a static shock from until I changed the carpet (the change in carpet was unrelated but removed the issue).  This did reboot the keypad.  The shock was scarcely noticeable just a minor spark / static sound and the merest of tingles.

Actually, with the Advanced Lighting Timer, you can do this with one Light On Level specification: D+45=0%,N-45=50%,N+60=95%
When using D/N ((Daytime and Nighttime) in the specification, view this as a continuous circular specification.  From 45 minutes after sunrise (D+45), the light will not come on (0%).  From 45 minutes before sunset (N-45) to 60 minutes after sunset (N+60), the light will come on at 50% (or whatever you want).  From 60 minutes after sunset, the light will come on at 95% until the next time specified in a circular way, which is D+45 (45 minutes after sunrise).  Using 95% instead of 100% is barely noticeable, but it allows the user to override the timer by turning the light ON manually, which is usually 100%.

What driver are you using?  I have Cx and Bx models and they all work perfectly using the Annex4 driver.

I recall when I got my first IP controlled LG (5 years ago) that I was advised to get the Annex4 driver as it was much more reliable than the native driver for IP control (particularly on / off functionality).  I have no idea if that is (still) true but I’ve had no regrets with the Annex4 driver and it has been rock solid. 

Ok - figured it out. 
 
For anyone wanting to do the same thing - use room variable CURRENT_SELECTED_DEVICE instead.  That gives you the proxy ID of the driver you want.  Then write some code to set the the name of the source/app.

i use a very similar approach but using C4 keypads.  Great example @Topfox

I think the issue lies in the programming rather than a bug. I may well be wrong though.
Can you post screenshots of your programming?

I only have one matrix switcher for audio.  There is a separate switcher for video but the three rooms I was trying to link are all audio-only.  I think for now I'll just put this issue aside.  Maybe at some point down the road the root cause of the problem will become apparent.
Meanwhile I'm realizing I need to be really careful about interactions between my various automations -- my programming above unintentionally triggered a separate "entertaining" automation linked to the dining room audio that I created a few weeks ago.  I might have to start documenting some of this stuff!
