  1. I have been using 4 x Cisco SG500's . two POE versions in a wall cabinet & 2 non poe in two cabinets with AV equipment in. However I have been having network issues for a while now and am considering swapping them out. For instance my C4 panelized lighting will not reconnect to the network after a power outage, so I have had to connect the panels straight to the router (Draytek) to fix this. Also Sky Q has on occasion frozen my network although seems ok lately I am considering Araknis 210 or 310 or pakedge SX as they seem to play nicely with C4 and there are used ones available for decent prices one bay (uk based), however all my cabling comes back to a 48 bay patch panel so I need front patching switch on the wall cabinet whch seems more common with araknis. rear patching on the cabinets is fine but there is more pakedge stuff available on ebay. I don't use VLAN's currently but may wish to do so in the future so would they play together nicely if mix & matched? The other thing that has got my interest is the standard 48 POE Unifi as it is front patching and is shallow enough to fit into my wall cabinet (i had to use 2 x 24 sg 500 as the 48 is too deep) However I read they sometimes don't work well with C4? I also have unifi AP's which have been great as long as not connected to the ciscos. I also like the idea of managing them in one interface, like the stacked SG500's ahich i guess will not be possible with Araknis or Pakedge Any comments / suggestions appreciated thanks
  2. Hi lippavisual Yes I do, i have it set up to record all the time & playback when the alarm is armed I do not have anything of the loads in these rooms as tracked items though and the demisters are programmed as relays so they don't show up as tracked loads. I have cleared the history just in case there is some old history on there
  3. I have a number of panelized relays. 2 of them keep displaying weird behaviour in they close without any programming, that I can find anyway. only happens on two of four relays. By setting them to static IP's and removing SDDP it has improved somewhat. I have set up an email alert for when they open or close and they always seem to trigger at 9.01am or 9.31am. I have no schedules or programming set to trigger them at that time. happened this morning, las friday & the wednesday before that. I am at a loss to why this is happening, they are connected to bathroom mirror demisters and my wife noticed one was constantly on rather than controlled by a timer I have programmed. I have reset them to factory settings without success any ideas thanks Tony
  4. Thanks Rex for looking at it I used this guide to obtain the ID's https://www.dropbox.com/s/h578590j8jyjdku/Obtaining App IDs for creating Universal Mini-Drivers.pdf?dl=0 but guess I must be doing something wrong
  5. sorrythis is what i have in the application, i was just trying to recreate it for the screenshot must have copied wrong com.playsportsnetwork.tourmalet is what i have in the driver i uploaded here
  6. Doh sorry trying to do too many things at once um_gcn+.c4z
  7. Hi Rexabyte many thanks. have attached the file here um_netflix.c4z
  8. Yes filled in as below like the attached image
  9. Has anybody had success with this website? https://mdc.rjboucher.com/ It looks great just can;t seem to get the driver to link to the app properly. I am trying to create one for GCN+ which is a cycling channel and use it on Sony Android TV's Have followed the instructions online that i can find for getting the AP ID's but must be doing something wrong On the TV it shows - GCN Player - Live Player Streaming On a Firestick it is com.playsportsnetwork.tourmalet.tv but can;t get either to work
  10. works for me on fire cube but still find the IP driver just stops working at times on any fire tv
  11. thanks for clarifying Alan On the top of the driver there is a "use temperature sensor" option however it's greyed out. is there any way of enabling this as it would be handy to use my main room stats
  12. Have been using this driver for my LG units. Works really well however for some reason some fan speeds are missing on the C4 app that are showing on the Sensibo App Also the text is a bit poorly formatted on the C4 app One thing that would be really handy for those of us with the LG units in the bedroom is to have the light on / off function accessible from C4, as there is no way to permanently switch it off and iluminates the room works great though will be buying more sensibos for my other units
  13. is there a way to turn POC off on the LU1082 as I could not find it? they can be locally powered or POC so that's probably what did for them I guess if the wrong voltage was sent as they now no longer power up locally either
  14. managed to blow 2 blustream hdbase t baluns connecting to a LU1082. Not sure why that would be as I thought it was standardised but now won't even power up
  15. Hi Janssens thanks for your reply. Forgive me I am not that well versed in Lutron programming The blinds are connected Via QS standalone interface, and I am able to see the blinds and also able to set their integration ID's via telnet. The blinds do operate from the 10 way Smart PSU so i know the operate ok, although they are not yet grouped which I cannot find a way to do so via telnet. I am able to set phantom buttons and trigger them from C4 to operate the new blinds. I am waiting for the blind companies Programmer to contact me to go through it again
  16. Hi thanks for your response. Maybe not a stupid question, can you elaborate on how to do that? The blind company we're supposed to deal with all the Lutron end and I dealt with C4. This worked fine last time but perhaps they haven't activated them?
  17. Still haven't been able to rectify this. I am wondering if the C4 driver is not pulling the new info / blinds from the QS standalone unit. When I action "Discover Lutron QS Devices" there is no output on the Lua Tab. With debugging on i get this strMatch = nil Function: SendToNetwork(6001, ?ETHERNET,0): ReceivedFromNetwork(), idBinding = 6001, nPort = 23, strData = ~ETHERNET,0,192.168.1.250 Received IP address from Network Interface (keep alive) Function: SendToNetwork(6001, ?ETHERNET,0): ReceivedFromNetwork(), idBinding = 6001, nPort = 23, strData = ~ETHERNET,0,192.168.1.250 strMatch = nil Received IP address from Network Interface (keep alive) Function: ExecuteCommand(LUA_ACTION): ACTION Function: SendToNetwork(6001, ?ETHERNET,0):
  18. I have had 5 Lutron QS blinds on my system for a few years working fine. Last week We added 4 new roller blinds that run along our sliding doors to the back garden. They are connected to the same 10 way Lutron PSU unit as the other 5, and I cannot get C4 to communicate with them for some reason. They operate fine from the 10 slot smart panel override button. I have changed the integration ID's , just as I did before and programmed exactly the same If I telnet a Details all devices command to the QS standalone unit (QSE-CI-NWK-E) this is what I get ?DETAILS, ALL_DEVICES ~DETAILS,SN:0x0179eef4,INTEGRATIONID:QS Interface,FAMILY:CONTROL_INTERFACE(6),PRODUCT:QSE(1),CODE:8.60,BOOT:2.13,HW:1.0 ~DETAILS,SN:0x02354998,INTEGRATIONID:QS Smart Panel_,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:SHADE_PANEL(2),CODE:0.47,BOOT:2.6,HW:2.1 ~DETAILS,SN:0x03c34733,INTEGRATIONID:Guest Room 1_,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:2.35,BOOT:3.0,HW:11.6 ~DETAILS,SN:0x03c34734,INTEGRATIONID:Jacks Room_,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:2.35,BOOT:3.0,HW:11.6 ~DETAILS,SN:0x03c34735,INTEGRATIONID:Gabys Room_,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:2.35,BOOT:3.0,HW:11.6 ~DETAILS,SN:0x03c34736,INTEGRATIONID:Guest Room 2_,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:2.35,BOOT:3.0,HW:11.6 ~DETAILS,SN:0x03c34737,INTEGRATIONID:Master Bedroom_,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:2.35,BOOT:3.0,HW:11.6 ~DETAILS,SN:0x076c0162,INTEGRATIONID:Sliding Doors 1,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:3.7,BOOT:2.4,HW:83.14 ~DETAILS,SN:0x076c0163,INTEGRATIONID:Sliding Doors 2,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:3.7,BOOT:2.4,HW:83.14 ~DETAILS,SN:0x076c0164,INTEGRATIONID:Sliding Doors 3,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:3.7,BOOT:2.4,HW:83.14 ~DETAILS,SN:0x076c016a,INTEGRATIONID:Sliding Doors 4,FAMILY:SHADES(3),PRODUCT:ROLLER(1),CODE:3.7,BOOT:2.4,HW:83.14 I note my previous naming scheme appears to have an underscore at the end for some reason, however duplicating that has not helped. Also unsure what the codes after ROLLER(1) refer to but they do not match and wonder if that has something to do with it? thanks in advance
  19. Hi mstafford388 thanks yes i deleted the driver in the project and put the new driver in. also deleted the old driver from the driver library on my PC and double checked the remaining driver had the correct images before re-adding it.
  20. Hi I created some new icons for air con units triggered by the experience driver. I decided to change the selected icons so it was more apparent what state it was in. all seemed to go ok but the icons did not update. i deleted the old driver and reinstalled it and double checked the driver icons and all appears ok. anyone else had this? thanks in advance
  21. yes, its been while since i programmed them but i believe you can send any dmx signal you want through them. I have two sound activated lights in my gym and i use that controller just to switch them on and off. but i'm pretty sure you can switch programs etc with them too
  22. I used the Entec DIN-ODE MKII with Art-net. has been rock solid. think that unit has been discontinued but others are available https://www.enttec.co.uk/range/controls/dmx-ethernet-lighting-control/
  23. managed to solve this by using the IP address of the Nad rather than SDDP
  24. I have a bluesound Node and a Nad Ci580. I am having problems with the meta data / cover art getting stuck and not updating anyone else had this or resolved it? Other than that they seem to work great
