I'm pretty sure you need an IQ TP. After experiencing that with an unsuccessful install with C4 TP only I didn't see the need for the Pro when you can get a IQ4 for cheaper. Add a wired to wireless board if needed and still cheaper. Mine is en route and I will post my install findings.

I was not. Not yet. I did not order a Qolsys touch panel with the Pro in hopes to use C4 TP and mobile. I believe accessing the settings for 3rd party integration can only be done through the Qolsys TP. I do not see any similar options in the Pro Installer mobile app. AlarmGrid support told me today "I have an update direct from Johnson Controls (the parent company of Qolsys) and they state the integration is not YET supported for Control 4 and that the expected release is FW Version 4.3.0 which is to be released January 2024." Based on others in the chat above it seems it does work. I'm going to order a Qolsys TP in hopes I can find the 3rd party integration settings. If anyone else can confirm with screen captures or show me the settings in the IQ Installer GA please let me know.

I discussed my install with AlarmGrid techs and they said go with the IQ Pro. After install and attempted configuration I don't see any 3rd Party Integration in the IQ Pro. I think the comments above are confusing on IQ4 Pro. I am not sure that exists. If someone has success in integration with the actual IQ Pro, please let me know.

How did it go? I returned from another trip away and my Concord4 was on the fritz again. I think it is time to upgrade.

Did some searching, but need a suggestion on upgrading my security panel. My panel is starting to go I think and looking to upgrade. I was in the integration business some time ago and have not stayed up on it. I currently have a GE Concord 4. RS-232. No IP control. C4 OS 3.31 Any panel recommendations that I can start looking into? Thx

I was thinking I needed to upgrade my alarm panel from a Concord as well to get LTE and IP control. I reached out to confirm the gear from Alarm Grid. They says the Qolsys 4 can't integrate with C4. Really? They said I would redo all programming through Qolsys instead of C4. No thanks. I have both wired and wireless Concord sensors. I'm simply looking to upgrade my alarm touch panels to something more pleasing than the old keypads. How does the integration work with a Qolsys alarm panel?

Good call out. I needed to do some swapping because of a bad channel on the HDMI switch. Instead of routing the video through the HDMI switch, I am sending from a Binary HDMI B-540-EXT to a C4-HDBTEB-B. Snap said they use the same protocol. It seems like the emitter is getting power because it does light up, but hardly flashes.

HC800 IR 1 output > Binary HDBaseT Transmit input > C4 HDBaseT Receiver with flasher. I can't seem to chase this IR issue. I recently had to replace my C4 HDBaseT Receiver with a Binary HDBaseT Receiver. IR seems to not be passing correctly. I have tried mono mini and stereo mini between C4 and Binary Receiver. C4 HDBaseT Receiver IR Flasher out. Flasher seems to run hot as it lights up, and has a little flash. Any suggestions on what to try? My TV is too old to do LAN control.

Thanks everyone. Very helpful. Now I just need to determine if I can program Bond without having my Somfy remote. I lost an SR260 and Somfy remote in our last rain storm. Good times.

I'm not 100% clear. I have a Somfy RTS shade and I simply want to have C4 raise and lower. It seems Bond is best for that, but do I need the chowmain driver still in order to accomplish raise and lower?

I have an outdoor shade in my ramada with a Somfy RTS. I have both Lutron and C4. I only need up/down. It looks like it is best to use Bond with C4 driver. I can program up/dn on my HomeworksQS keypad to initiate the C4 side unless someone has a better idea through Lutron. Question: I just fried my Somfy remote in a rain storm for my Somfy shade. Is there any way to program the shade to Bond without the factory remote? Thanks.

IntelliTouchi9 control through C4 has been garbage at best. I may have to upgrade the board. It looks to be about $800US to upgrade to the new board and take advantage of these features. I may have to do that.

I have had the same issue for a couple of years and it has been driving me crazy. Fully rebuilt, swapped amps. Nothing. Annoying. My wife hates it.

I have a mini split, Pioneer. I don't see it listed anywhere on ChowMain although Sensibro says it can be controlled. I purchased a wifi internet controller that works through Cielio app. I would think the wifi controller would be able to be controlled by C4 or CM driver. There is not much out there that I can find regarding this Leap driver documentation and how it works. I have a QS system. I'd be happy to update to a QSX if it gives me the ability to have accurate scene mapping and integration into my C4 and Lutron system. Would this give the ability to properly mimic Lutron QS keypads with scene control. In almost all of my jobs the main top button in every room is the main lighting scene for the room, followed by individual control below. Getting C4 to recognize those keypad button w scene control has been a pain. Individual button control is no problem.

I don't have controllable power outlets on my personal system. I don't believe it is possible as I don't see it in System Manager, but is it possible to do a programmed reboot on a C4 Matrix Switch or 16AMP3 without pulling power? I'm tired of chasing an issue where I lose audio channels in rooms and then get them back after a reboot. I figure I'll just program to reboot every night if possible.

I'm talking about getting the current weather screen that is already available in the bottom right corner of a T3 screen. It is basically just automating that button press on the screen, but I don't see it anywhere.

Any insight in how I would have the weather app on a T3 show up on the screen for a period of time? For example I want it to be shown from 6am-8am while the homeowner is getting ready for the day, then revert back to its normal screen saver. Did some searching and came up short. Thanks.

I've always used separate rooms for my Game Rooms to control the two side by side TVs. Each connected to their own output on an HDMI switch. I thought I would try the Multi Screen Wall driver. All seems straight forward, but I can't get the Available Video Sources to show up after following the documentation. I've tried deleting the rooms completely and starting from scratch and I get the same result. Created TV Left Room, Created TV Right Room, Created Multi Screen Wall Room. Made all connections as normal, Set Master Display to TV Left. Set minor display to TV Right. Connected sources to multi screen wall in composer. Disconnected unused inputs...When I check for available video sources on the Multi Screen Wall Room nothing is shown? I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions appreciated. *Only two TVs in the room.
