  1. @Cyknight This is great info. I've had a chime for about a year and love it. However, just installed a T3-Wall10 screen yesterday. Was hoping a doorbell button press would get a live video on the T3 (I assume this is "intercom"!?). I know that the T3 should be able to get live video. I'm guessing I don't have the chime set up properly. I do see that the T3 is in the "call group". Do you have any advice for this? Currently, in programming, a doorbell press sends a push notification of "doorbell", and sends an announcement (I chose a rooster noise--lol). I attach my settings as jpgs.
  2. Cancel that--just figured out that I need to create an "announcement" make this occur.
  3. Or can it only use the already installed mechanical door chime? I can't see an option for this in Composer.... I only see "External Chime on or off". I have mine as ON.
  4. just a final follow up on this....added a dedicated network switch and boom, everything works perfectly.....lesson learned here. Thanks kindly
  5. well, @lippavisual was on the right track and it got me thinking..... My current network flow to the TV is from Cable modem to large, rack mounted, 24 port gigabit switch to an old DLink gigabit router [(DHCP turned off) therefore converted to a network switch] and finally to the TV. Needed the DLink router/switch as there's only one LAN port in the room and have a computer and this LG TV in the same room that need LAN. Soooo....bypassed the old DLink router/switch and hooked up directly to the TV. Now the TV works flawlessly. I don't understand why this was the issue (as all the SmartTV content worked perfectly the way it was set up)....but more importantly, not sure how to proceed.....Maybe just buy a new dedicated gigabit switch for that room!?
  6. I was very careful to look at that (MAC Addresses) to make sure that I was not......
  7. fair comment. If I use the LG remote, the TV and all the Smart TV functions work flawlessly (including 4K streaming). I don't think that's the issue, but I could be wrong.....
  8. I bought two identical TV's (LG 55Nano90). There are free C4 drivers specific to this model (which I added to the project). Both TV's are hardwired to the internet and, obviously, have different MAC addresses. I have the same settings on the TV's (in the LG C4 section of the TV menus) and in composer for BOTH TVs. One works flawlessly and the other is hit and miss (mostly miss). If I have that TV on Wi-Fi only, it'll work 50% of the time......conversely, if I have it on Wired only, it works 0% of the time. In the properties of the TV on C4, it often says the TV is offline, and once that happens, there's zero IP control. I've followed the driver's included instructions to a T, to no avail. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this, or have any suggestions? I know one solution is to use IR blasters only....but that's a final fallback plan. os3.2.1 Thanks kindly.
  9. Quick question...is the Paradox driver supported in os3.xx? I'm about to update my whole C4 system and need to know this ahead of time! Please and thanks!
  10. Had a line on a good deal from a friend...that is all. I'm open to buying other brands...seems HikVision seems popular still.....
  11. over 2 year old thread I know but is there any update to different manufacturers that have SDDP or any integration with C4? I was hoping for Flir/Lorex..... I have os 2.10
  12. Yes. It worked flawlessly. It’s not an easy update for a dealer to do (IMHO). He remote connected and updated it to the new firmware (5.071 I think) in a few minutes with serial to USB adapter (pin 4 intact for this update) I am using your driver v2.1. BTW, thank you for all your input to make my project come to life. Happy wife = happy life
  13. Hi. Yes I had the same problem. John kindly took a few mins out of his day to remote connect to my computer to update the single engine DMX box. Have teamviewer installed as that’s how he’ll get in. Also you need a serial cable attached from the DMX box to the computer. I used a USB to serial cable and it worked fine. And PIN 4 needs to be attached for this update!!! It took him no more than 4 minutes.
  14. Thanks! Yes, I should have also clarified that I'd be using the 30LED/metre type of 5m roll. I haven't bought them yet, but I was trying to buy them all at the same time as PSU. Good advice on Meanwell PSU. Also, can you confirm that the ES controller (with single output only as that's what I have bought) can NOT be upgraded to the latest firmware? You mentioned in an earlier post that that was a possibility....
  15. Couple quick questions about this: 1- I have 5–PX24500 DMX decoders ready to install. They each appear to be rated at 15A max (5A per channel). Would I need a power supply/transformer of 75A or higher (15A x 5 decoders)? 2- How many concurrent 5meter strips of 12V RGB led strips lights can each decoder handle before seeing a delay at the end of the strip? (Assuming I use a 12V 5050SMD type LED strip). Thanks
