  1. There you go: Primary: rtsp://IP-Address:554/live.sdp Secondary: rtsp://IP-Address:554/live3.sdp
  2. The Chime does have a second stream. In fact, it has 3 streams, one of which is useless. This is why you can choose the resolution for camera and intercom in the driver’s properties. I’m not close to my computer right now, but if you download the Onvif tool and connect to the Chime, you’ll see all 3 streams. Heads up! The VGA stream is actually the 3rd stream. Don’t use the second stream, it is very low quality and it has a crop. I have my Chime connected to my NVR and I can pull both hi-res and low-res streams.
  3. What is your setup? If you want to call from a mobile phone to a T3, use the C4 intercom app.
  4. I disagree. The current drivers that support dynamic announcements work perfectly. The text is processed, converted to an audio file, downloaded to the controller, and played in about 1 second. It’s arguably the coolest driver out there. Pretty amazing what it does. I have the Voice Genie driver installed in many systems using dynamic announcements and it works great.
  5. Never had an issue with announcements, my system or my customers’.
  6. Yes, you can. I have a Marantz sending zone 2 pre outs to my Triad Matrix. I don’t understand the second paragraph. But I have RCA from one to the other. Simple.
  7. Having a cable box is way better.
  8. Just out of curiosity. Why aren’t you using the native C4 driver?
  9. Logs will show that the DS2 placed a call, which you already know. Not sure what you are trying to find out here. You can disable dealer access if you think your dealer did it. You can enable/disable access as needed.
  10. You cannot connect Control4 Touch Panels to your phone system. However, you can connect your SIP phones to Control4. In other words, the SIP phones can be part of Control4 intercom system, but Control4 cannot be part of your phone system. Your phones are end points that can be connected to the PBX and Control4 at the same time. C4 touch panels can only be connected to C4 and can’t be end points to your phone system.
  11. James, camera integration in Control4 is very stable at this moment. The fact that your dealer “gave up” should tell you a lot about how your system is designed/programmed. Looking at your screenshots from last year, you are using Mjpeg feeds and that is one of the issues. You should be using H.264 feeds. The other reason why the camera app looks good and Control4 looks terrible is because the camera app is pulling your main stream, where Control4 is usually using the sub-stream. To improve the quality in the Control4 app, login to your NVR web interface and adjust the sub-stream setting to improve the quality. Usually VGA resolution, 15 FPS, and an adequate bit rate. If your cameras are connected to a switch and not to the NVR and you have T4s, then the camera experience becomes 1000 times better. You can use the third stream in the cameras to be used by Control4. 720p, 25fps, and 2048Kbps are my usual settings. Quality looks great in both the T4s and the Mobile app. FYI, T4s support full 1080p without breaking a sweat. Anyways, as I mentioned, you should be able to view your cameras in the C4 with no issues. You just need someone to setup up for you. Also, I would recommend using the Generic Camera driver for better flexibility and bullet proof integration. Last but not least, Lilin is junk.
  12. This is not accurate. Announcements will automatically play the doorbell sound trough the speakers and resume the music afterwards regardless of the source selected. The selected source has nothing to do with this feature. This is a built in feature in Control4 and it doesn’t require any special programming, except for the creation of the announcement and the execution when the doorbell is pressed.
  13. Mitsubishi Thermostat interface and Control4 Thermostat and call it a day.
  14. Alan’s Hebcal driver works great (Not supported anymore). All you have to do is program against Candlelight and Havdalah variables. Havdalah is set at 52 minutes after sunset so if you require 72, you have to do programming to trigger events at 72.
  15. Works like a charm: https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/
  16. It really depends on the dealer and the circumstances. We will not charge our customers to replace these units.
