  1. Even though the box I have has the right firmware version, apparently it doesn't support getting an IP address even after following the instructions. The box that does (for my area) doesn't have an output (red and white) for audio so I opted to not change boxes. This might be your issue.
  2. I saw a post on Reddit stating the X1 IP driver was out. Has anyone tried the Xfinity X1 IP driver that was released 9/20/18?
  3. I've contacted Andrzej and the guys at Coolabode twice over the past 2 months with several remote programming requests each time. Andrzej contacted me and had the work done within a few hours. This adds to the long list of happy customers and good experiences with these guys.
  4. It would be nice to separate this into two threads when something like this happens again. One the 200+ unhelpful commentary chatroom style convos/complaining AND one for the actual relevant and/or helpful information. That way I don't need to read the cat fights and pissing contests. I also just added to the commentary so I shouldn't be one to talk. Food for thought my fellow nerds.
  5. Do you have a preferred communication protocol in mind? You could do this pretty inexpensive if you can get an IR bud there. Using SUPERNIGHT's RGBWW light strip and Alan's Generic lighting driver, you can program all your needs. You can also cut, install extension wires where you don't need the light (going to the next shelf?). Splicing the wires is tedious but doable.
  6. Like all kickstarter campaigns, looks great in the video, promises the world, gained my interest immediately, and then I take it all in with a bowl of salt. https://www.ithings4.com/#
  7. Using the Flirc USB as noted in another thread works great from a control of the 2017 shield standpoint. I can wake it up using the control4 remote. You may be able to program it to wake up using that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Does anyone have some time today to do some remote programming on my system? I have a list of specific lighting things I'd like changed. Here are the basics: All off scene Vacation Scene/mode Front door opens - turn on some lights Preset light levels at night
  10. Yes. If any of you are thinking of preordering this -- send me your cash, I will donate as my own to a reputable 501©(3) charity, then send you a years worth of emails about "tooling" complications, and then never send you anything. PM me and I will give you my address. I hope I'm wrong but I know I'm right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. zero percent chance this product comes to market as "advertised".
  12. Boom! OS 2.9.1 update fixed this issue for me. Thank you to anyone at control4 who made this happen!
  13. And we're officially off topic. I've updated and the ShairBridge audio issue of skipping during any playback has been fixed!!
  14. Hello - I was wondering if you can use a the newer 120V—C4-APD120 Adaptive Phase Dimmer with a older 2-button keypad C4-KP2-Z in a 3-way scenario?
