You can unpair on the Samsung TV by going to NETWORK, ADVANCED and DISABLE IP CONTROL. Then ENABLE IP CONTROL. Then pair again.

If the Freeswitch Gateway is showing as offline then I would either reboot the primary controller which may restart that process once it boots up again, alternatively contact your dealer who can login remotely, disable the freeswitch process and the re-enable it again.

This guy sent me a message and I didn't respond within 28 minutes and then he sends me another message with double question marks (on a Saturday no less). I recommend if you are a remote programmer that you don't work with him unless you plan to provide 24x7 instantaneous response...

If that's really how you feel and are not just trolling these forums for the sake of it, I think you'll find you are in the minority there.
Control4 is a very robust and reliable system, but as with most similar products, it's only as good as the programmer/installer. There's many ways it can be configured incorrectly or at least not as well as it could be and that can result in a poor end user experience. Combined with perhaps dealing with an installer either unwilling or unable to come and fix any issues you are having this will often make clients feel they have been ripped off.
You say "Great salesman, worthless system" which sounds as though they could talk the talk but not walk the walk when it came to actually implementing what you wanted it to do, that in itself is a fault of the salesman and/or programmer and not the Control4 system itself.
As already suggested above, perhaps explaining what you have in your system and what issues you are having in more detail, I'm sure there are several of us on here who could help steer you in the right direction rather than just bad-mouthing the brand without any true basis on which to do so.

    Hi all,
Not sure if allowed to post about this so please delete if necessary.
I just wanted to send out an invite to a new FaceBook group (Control4 Community UK) I created with the intention of increasing communication and collaboration between C4 dealers and end-users in the UK.
This is primarily aimed at partnering UK dealers with end-users to generate mutual partnerships along with the discussion of integration requests and solutions that may bring the two together.
I'm aware there are lots of new dealers on the scene who could benefit from a bit more visibility and lots of end-users who have older systems no longer maintained by their original installer or they may not even be around to support the system any more. Likewise, there are also lots of people who inherit C4 system with the purchase of a property and have no idea where to turn to get the system working as desired and ongoing support put in place.
It is primarily aimed at UK based dealers and end-users but all are welcome.

That's interesting, because CEC is not a requirement for eARC to function at all, it is transmitted over the previously unused ethernet channel pairs as a completely stand-alone audio signal.

Abdul, are you a Control4 dealer? If you are then you should be well versed on how to troubleshoot this issue. If you are not a dealer then you should not be using Composer Pro in the first place.

Crustyloafer reacted to booch in Multiple button combos --> programming. (New to me; old news to pros/informed.)
Just wanted to share a quick tip for others that may be new to C4 like me. I was surprised there wasn't a native ability to attach commands to multiple button combinations (or any input really); therefore, I wanted to share my solution: variables.
For example, I programmed a quick press of 'down then up' on my (Control4 keypad's) volume buttons to turn rooms off. I'd initially tried double/triple press, but that overlapped with normal behavior. Example below -- enjoy!
(And kudos to whoever has the best combo already going. Contemplating where/how to use the Konami code myself, ha.)
