  1. Hi, I have currently my Apple TV connected to an AV receiver with outputs to the Family room speakers. This works fine. I would like to get sound from the Apple TV to another room which has Sonos speakers through a audio matrix switch. To feed the audio to Sonos bridge, I need to extract audio from the HDMI port on Apple TV.. I have seen some products available on amazon that do this. However, I am also told that by doing that, I will likely not get a 4K resolution from that device for my family room. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to split the audio to 2 different rooms from the HDMI port on Apple TV and also not lose any resolution? Thanks Samaresh
  2. Update: The xbox controller has a decent range.. I have couple of walls between the AV-Closet and where I have my TV. The distance from where I sit is about 20 ft and the controller works without any issues even across the obstacles. There is no latency. The only downside is that the headset that streams audio connected to the controller does not work in certain spots in the room even when the controller itself works with no issues. For now, I am good with with this, but the issue is that I am not able to connect the xbox to my matrix switch and stream it to another room which is further away. I hope MS comes out with a better solution (wireless bridge for the controller?). Thank you all for your comments and suggestions.
  3. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. Per ILoveC4's comment, I will try out first to check the range. In any case, I think this is something that MS should think about. Instead of Bluetooth, a wifi connection can solve the problem as long as there are no latency issues (which would depend on the Wifi network).
  4. Hello, I have some sources like Apple TV already connected to the matrix switch which is connected to TVs in different rooms. I am wondering if there is a way to connect an Xbox as well to the matrix switch and then then use it in different rooms. For the AV part, that should be fine, but the rooms are quite apart and it won't be in range of the controller bluetooth. Is there a way to extend the controller range as well? Thanks Samurvi
  5. I have the same issue since my system was loaded with OS3. I don't have any proxy server, just using the one on the controller. Tried reboot/refresh and it did not address the issue.
  6. I am looking for an integrator in San Jose, CA area. I have an existing system and need some changes/updates. Not looking at adding any hardware, but given some activities may need an in-person debugging, I am not sure if remote programmers can work. For a knowledgeable person, it shouldn't take over a day after discussing my needs. Let me know if you are interested or if you can refer to someone.
