Hi Folk Just a wee observation re LG OLED control on 2021 models down here in the Southern hemisphere. Access to the installer menu is by 82888. Set the IP control on, turn on SDDP and WOL. (don't worry about turn on by Wifi - seems to go fine regardless if this setting). All done using the magic mouse (Smart pointer). The trick to using this is: left thumb hover over the "2" and right thumb hover over the "8" then enter the code steadily and quickly - all good to go!. Went to a local store and tried this on a bunch of models (annoyed the salesman LOL) and it worked consistently reliably. The IP control driver seems very robust with all features working a treat - Hope this helps

Thanks everyone. All up and running - sitting on OS 10.1 for now until I can register the controller somehow. Looks like an unregistered controller cant be upgraded. Appreciate your help'

Thanks Dunamivora - appreciate your comments. I need to stay with OS 2 as I dont think the rest of my gear will safely upgrade to 3.x.x without the risk of becoming bricked. I am only replacing the main controller (HC800) because it got nuked by a lightning strike - very spectacular - massive flash out of the controller a bang and a carbon burn mark on the wall. - The controller is now a charred pile of HC800 oxide. My replacement controller is running OS3 and as such, it is far safer to return that to OS2 and the highest OS I have access to is 10.4. Been stable for years so perfectly happy with that. Just want our system back to how it was before the storm. I assume that the way to rewind it is to simply press and hold the reset button and have it fold back to factory which I presume will be some version of OS2? Please confirm that this is the way forward as I am nervous about resetting only to completely lock up my new controller.... Best. Don K

Hello folk I have a leaf 6x6 video matrix LTHDM166 which has suddenly stopped outputing video. The LEDs cycle 1 thu 6 then blank out and repeat. I have a distant recollection that this is a diagnostic code and has a simple fix but my aged brain cannot bring to mind what it means and how to fix it. Any help would be much appreciated Regards $G
