  1. Tough crowd here, or a quiet forum. Surprised there are no opinions or thoughts at all.
  2. Is Vidabox and a Samsung tablet a decent option?
  3. Hi all, I have used an iPad mini for a few years now to access C4. Its pretty much end of life now, so I need to replace it. Looking at old threads on here, many seem to say Amazon Fire tablets almost do the same job. I don't need intercom functionality. Is there a powered wall mount for the Amazon Fire tablet? Or what type of wall mount would you recommend? I presume there's no benefit to an iPad mini against an 8" or 10" fire tablet?
  4. I just bought a R-volution Player One and the manufacturer has told me that the Zappiti driver will work. My Control 4 installer has added the driver on a trial, and it does work. However, the display name is Zappiti, and the remote controls don't seem to perform the same. My question is, could the name be changed to display properly on Control 4 interfaces? And will Chowmain be bringing out a separate R_volution driver - I don't want to buy the Zappiti driver if a proper R_volution driver is coming, as its not cheap.
  5. Got my Halo installed today. Really happy with it, very much more modern than the SR260.
  6. I ordered a Halo today, looking forward to receiving it
  7. That’s fantastic, thank you for taking the time to do that.
  8. We can’t see it in HE though, the Memory commands I mean? Any chance of a screenshot?
  9. My installer has downloaded the official driver, but can’t find a way to trigger Mem A or Mem B in the driver. Could you point me in the right direction please?
  10. So could I cast or handover the stream to it? Is it a better option than Spotify Connect?
  11. So Spotify seems to be a good halfway house then it seems.
  12. Quoting myself - maybe it was the Neeo which couldnt have batteries replaced.
  13. Hi all, So, we are an Apple household and have used Apple music for years. I'm going to upgrade my HC800 to a Core 3, and thinking perhaps I should look at music options. We have a Russound 6 channel amp for distributing audio, and are happy enough to have the same stream playing all round the house. So, currently, when a call comes in, using Shairbridge with Apple Music, an incoming call knocks off the music and so on as we know. I'm not a massive fan of Tidal, I just don't seem to get decent recommendation for music from it. I have Spotify Connect set up also, in various rooms, so could try it. Basically my question is, if Apple Music is my default, is Spotify Connect option 2? I can browse for music on it, or add playlists which can be selected by Control 4, is that correct? And once the music is selected, the app can be closed, I can take or make calls on my phone, or can even leave the building and the stream will continue? In that case, considering Spotify connect provides all that, what does Tidal or Deezer add? Browsing for music within the C4 app? Would that essentially be the gain with those two services? Thanks in advance.
  14. Aside from the issues with battery life, can the batteries be replaced or is it sealed and once the battery dies thats it?
  15. How would a sub be added to the sound bar in that case?
  16. I might just leave it stand alone then. Seems like a good lock.
  17. Just wondering if anyone has used these? https://www.ultion-lock.co.uk/ultion-smart/ Seems to be decent quality. Would the Zigbee version work with Control 4?
  18. I PMd you at the beginning of the week, but haven’t heard back?
  19. My dealer has gone awol. its finally time to find a new one.
  20. I mentioned it to him last week, yet again. He was supposed to have sorted it last time. If he doesn’t before Christmas, I’ll look at a remote option with some of the good guys on here
  21. Do I need my dealer to update the driver, or should it happen automatically? I have Composer HE, can I do it there?
