  1. Would this work w the low voltage loads? I use it for my remote water sensors, door locks etc works great. https://drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/utility/battery-agent/
  2. 1) PICO remote 2) There are C4 NYCE remotes (might get on ebay as they are discontinued) but would do exactly what you want. https://www.nycesensors.com/product/lifestyle-automation-keyfob Biggest thing will be range.
  3. Only way I can think to do now is to do a start timer and end of timer send a stop command (if it has one). I have a shade that is up down only and have to manually hit stop when I want to open half way. I could time it and program it but eh lol.
  4. I was thinking maybe different accounts for the TV or something. Hassle to change in case you forget etc.
  5. Aprilair C4 stats also work but might be overkill.
  6. Easier than that, create a lighting scene in C4 but don't do any lights go to programming. Set what you want to happen when that lighting scene is triggered. Ie (Close Kitchen Shades) is the name of the lighting scene. No lights programmed but in programming I have it set to close kitchen shades. Then create an alexa routine that says when "Alexa, close kitchen shades" is said run this lighting scene. Works pretty well. If you do it with a routine you can say it like that, if you don't want to do alexa routines than you can just say "alexa, turn on close kitchen shades" little counter intuitive but works. This way don't have to worry about the wrong programming number and don't need any other devices.
  7. how is it integrated, nyce sensor, hardwired into the garage door opener, etc?
  8. Mine still works, glad I got in when I did. Sorry you spent all that time getting a contract with myq for them to do this. Very not cool.
  9. Reading the press release seems those of us on 4sight can keep it for our systems only affects new installs. I am happy about that. The company says 4Sight will continue to be available to past subscribers, but clients receiving any installations going forward must sign up and subscribe to enable Connect.
  10. Not sure anyone else noticed but my apple watch ultra 2 is so much faster, more stable, and there is now session/transport controls with volume!
  11. Long story short might need to dumb down the resolution of the boxes even on newer TVs to get all TV to work. Lowest common denominator thing.
  12. Yeah I gave up on that a while back. Especially once I got Tidal as it is a much better quality.
  13. Make sense, but if you don't want to have to remember to hit the button could do auto programming on alarm disarmed.
  14. 1) See above 2) I have timers set to when action happens start timer, if timer running restart timer. Use this for bathroom lights. 3) Touchscreen or TV screens? I don't use the touchscreens for cameras, I have a NVR wired as a source to my AV setup. I do have when doorbell pressed press pause on TVs and pull up doorbell camera for 30 sec then back to previous source and wait. Some really fun stuff if can do!
  15. I have my alarm integrated and when alarm is off it is recording. I didn't feel I needed it all the time when just going to work so set a variable that when I click it (in my garage room) it does mockupancy. Usually reserve this for vacations.
  16. Note to self - if it ain't broken don't fix it.
  17. There is an auto button? All this time I had my dealer adding lights and binding them for me.
  18. Nest just closed out their legacy connections for those that held off on transition to google so as stated the protect won't integrate anymore

    24" FireTV

Funny question how do we get an amazon fire tv to show as a tv. My dealer threw the irusb driver in the room for me and bound the ip address I gave him but I do all my own programming. Thanks.
  20. I've been giving this a test and it works amazingly. No more setting the shades to raise and lower based on timers in the morning and hoping it gets it right and having 2 sets of timers for summer and winter (sun rises slower in summer) etc. Now everything is based on azimuth of the sun (position east to west) and shades go up and down based on that. Love it!
