  1. Thanks for the feedback. But isn't a better fix is to be able to figure out how to change the Roku Player selector field so it's able to select the Roku stick thats plugged into the "Guest King" TV? Exactly how it's properly set up in the "Guest Twin" TV per my screenshots. Does that have to be done by dealer since it's greyed out in Composer HE 3.4.0?
  2. Hoping for feedback: I have Roku 4K streaming sticks in 2 Rooms. In Composer HE 3.4.0, the Roku Player in one room (named Guest Twin) is set up properly in that the Roku Player has the proper Roku Stick selected. In the other room (named Guest King), the Roku Player cannot be selected from "Roku Player Selector" field in that the drop down doesn't show the any available Roku Players connected to my network, and the Roku Player field is "Selected by IP address". Also greyed out so I cannot change it. In past ~2 years, I have manually inputted the IP address from the Guest King Roku Stick every time the IP from the Roku stick changes. However lately, our Comcast internet is constantly down and the Roku Stick IP keeps changing, so I have to constantly go to Composer HE and re-enter the new IP in Guest King Roku IP field so C4 can control this Roku player. Which brings me to my question: Is there anyway for me to fix the Guest King Roku Player selector in Composer HE 3.4.0 so I can select the proper Roku Player without having to manually re-enter the IP every time? As mentioned, currently the Roku Player field in the Guest King is greyed out, but in Guest Twin (the other Roku player), it's fully selectable. I tried "Rescan for Roku Players" but nothing happens. Or does this necessitate another dealer call potentially incurring $180/hour for this seemingly simple fix? See attached screenshots for what I mean... Thank You!
  3. Found the Roku IP field in the Properties tab. I inputted the Roku IP and yup now works. Thanks!! Interestingly, the Roku in the other room's IP field is blank and has and always worked. I think it's because I never changed its Wi-Fi network to one not on C4. It's always been on the same Wi-Fi network as C4.
  4. I pressed the Rescan button again, and the drop down selection list doesn't come up (pls see screenshot). I have 2 Roku's connected to my home, only 1 has the issue, the other works fine. The one with the issue is probably because few weeks ago I changed the Wi-Fi network on the Roku (to not the C4 network). Prior to that C4 controlled the Roku fine. Yesterday I switched this Roku back to the same Wi-FI network as the C4 network and C4 cannot control the Roku. Could it be solved through manually entering the Roku IP into C4? If so, how do I do that in HE? Thanks everyone...
  5. Ah I see it now thanks. But when I press the "Rescan for Roku Players" button, it doesn't seem to do anything. No hourglass icon processing, and it doesn't prompt me to pick the player for the room. Also, how do I enter the Roku IP manually into Composer HE? Thanks again
  6. Hi - dumb question but how do I rescan for the Roku Players in Composer HE? Had similar issue with a Roku Streaming Stick 4K, so I installed a new one thinking it was the previous Roku Stick malfunctioning. Thanks!
  7. Cool thanks @Cyknight good to know for future. Mine was 100% due to a mismatched IP address, either the Lutron Hub or the Luxul Router or C4 changed the IP after power came back up after a few hours. Once I changed the IP on Composer HE to match the Lutron Hub IP, it worked instantly. First time it's happened to me in the ~5 years I've lived in this home.
  8. Thanks @istreich... I will try to set fixed IP thru my Luxul router. I did obtain router login credentials from my dealer. I inherited our C4 system from the initial owner of this home (built in 2016) and got zero transition from the previous owner with a super complicated C4 setup, so I continued to use his dealer since they did the initial setup. The dealer is OK, but I'm comfortable with tech and more of a DIYer, so C4 has been frustrating sometimes in that I'm not sure what I can self-manage thru Composer HE (not a user intuitive software to say the least!), and what I absolutely need my dealer for. At $180/ initial hour, it's a bit steep to get my dealer to do any programming. Above said, I was happy I could fix this issue (thanks folks on this thread!): power outage = Lutron shade control not working = IP issue. My dealer initially said they had to do a $180/hour service call, and honestly its crazy to think fixing something that ended up being a fixed IP could have cost hundreds of $$$. I dunno whether to be frustrated with the C4 system, my dealer, or (my getting better knowledge of) Composer HE!
  9. So through my Luxul router admin then? I will look into it, my dealer has to give me the Luxul admin login credentials... Thanks
  10. @SpencerT How do I create a DHCP reservation for the processor? Here is the screenshot where I was able to change the IP to match the Lutron App Network IP.
  11. Thanks @SpencerT!! The Lutron Processor was in the A/V room. I found the IP address and it was different vs the Lutron App Network IP. I was able to change the IP in Composer HE to match the Lutron App Network IP, and BINGO, IT NOW WORKS! Thanks @JSTRONG ! Appreciate the help, and just learned a new thing in Composer HE.
  12. So I found the Lutron App IP address... But @SpencerT , in Composer HE, I couldn't find the Lutron processor on the left (under Monitoring). Please see screenshot, as example I selected one of the Lutron Shades (i.e. Great Room North Shade). But I'm assuming this isn't the Lutron processor you're referring to... Thanks everyone for your help! Seems like it should be a simple fix, just trying to diagnose the issue.
  13. Hi - where do I go in Composer HE to confirm the polling IP and where do I confirm the actual IP assigned to my Lutron Hub? Bit of a rookie in terms of navigating Composer HE. Thanks
  14. Not sure I agree with you, since I have had the same C4 system config since 2016 when this was a new home, and in the past 6+ years we've had many instances of power outage, and never in 6+ years has this issue popped up. So if it's system setup issue I'm fairly sure it would have popped up before in the past 6+ years.
  15. So it sounds like I have to contact my dealer to fix the issue of the Lutron Shade Control not working since the power went down / then up. While I like the C4 system overall, these are the little things that are annoying about C4 where the dealer has to fix and I cannot fix. I'm a fairly good with DIY re: tech but it doesn't help much with C4.
  16. Could the Lutron Hub have automatically changed IP address with the power loss then power back up? Is that something I can check / fix on my own via Composer HE, or do I have to contact my dealer to reboot? Where in Composer HE can I find this info? Thanks for the help. This issue has never popped up before with past power loss and back up... Frustrating.
  17. Just did that (1) unplugged and plugged C4 controller back in and (2) unplugged and plugged the Lutron Hub back in. The C4 shades control still shows a bunch of "question marks" for each shade = still not working. Please see screenshots... Again, controlling shades thru the Lutron App works fine. Should I be rebooting the C4 Controller through Composer HE software vs. unplug / plug back in?
  18. Thanks. Dumb question, how do I reboot the Control4 controller? I've never done it before.
  19. Couple of days ago we lost power for several hours. After power came back up, all C4 function controls came back up properly (media, lighting, power, temperature etc) except for our Lutron Shades control. Controlling the shades via the Lutron App works fine, so I'm thinking some handshake or driver needs to be reset with C4 and the Lutron Shade Control? I have Composer He 3.3.1 and I know how to use it to do basic programming, but by no means an expert! Any help or feedback on how I can get the Lutron Shade Controls to work again using C4? Thank You!
