    It is powered by a POE. Our installer took our power cord (because we don't need it) so I will need to go buy one. Sorry IDK what a core switch is?? Our set up is router has some direct plugged in and others is plugged to the router to the switch that has additional ports (extender maybe the proper name??). However, the EA3 is powered by POE that comes from the router.

    Our EA3 does not show any colored (blue.red, yellow) lights when plugged in to our POE. We got a new router and hooked it up the same way, but a day later the EA3 does not work at all. Is it fixable? Is it just locked up? Can anyone help? Thank you
