As above, I got my wireless little thing called a SmartView3 and it works off zigbee. Don’t suppose there is a driver for it? It works for multiple utility companies as it’s based on a new standard.

I have just upgraded two UniFi HDNano's with two UniFi WiFi 6 Pro and have been flawless so far. Swapping them over took about 2 min as I just had to click adopt in the UniFi Network for each one and that's it! I couldn't get them on the UniFi store but Amazon had them at the same price.

I understand what you're saying regarding some of it but when you mention the below are you saying that people are not ok to make backups for personal use if bought? What about all the people who "backup" there films for Plex and the like. I have not noticed any copyright on free drivers by LG, Yamaha. Any third party drivers are paid for so it would be fine to use. Lastly, if Control4 etc were so upset about this would they not enforce it already? I have seen zero enforcement in the last 4/5 years since when learnt from scratch with a Ea-1 and SR260. I have had 4Sight for 4+ years, upgraded to a EA-5 (soon to be Core 5)and Triad Matrix & Amp, multiple EA-1's, DS2 etc etc without a hint of a problem. If anything Control4 would be happy with the equipment I have bought and the services used.

Im with Niall on this one sorry. Certainly not illegal. I remember a while ago this came up in a popular discord forum and all was explained. ATA, do you not think Snap AV or Control4 would actually do something to enforce this if it was? 1000's of people are 'jailbreaking' and have been for years quite happily. They allow 'jailbreakers' to pay for services like 4Sight also. Yes, people dont get the skills of a dealer to program the systems but over time people can get just as good, if not better than some dealers.

EA-5 or Core 5?

I know the HC-800 is now redundant but I used that for Audio outs like another chap. What is my options now as I have a EA-5 in my rack along with a HC-800 for audio out and a bunch of EA-1's scattered about? Do I need a second EA-5 for the audio outs or is there another option?
