    How does this compare to the Varietas Driver to connect to Homebridige? I've had it installed for almost 6 years and it works great. I think development of new features has stopped, so wondering about switching. I tried the driver by DTI and couldn't get it to work correctly with a https connection to Homebridge. Thanks, Dave

    @cylon147Thanks for this document. It's very straightforward and easy for the installers to manage. One question, I already have HomeBridge set up on a RaspberryPi with several other plugins installed. Can I use this HomeBridge for the install without it being reset and just enter the proper credentials and details within the Homebridge Manger? Thanks.

    @cylon147 Where can I get the installation instructions or documentation for this driver? I would like to be able to read up on it before I call my dealer to come out and install? They aren't very familiar with HomeKit and HomeBridge. I got them to install the Veritas driver years ago and I think I'm one of their only clients to use it. I want to make sure I have a transition plan to move from that driver to this one. Thanks, Dave

    @cylon147Is there a way to get the documentation for install before downloading the driver? I would like to be able to read up on it before I call my dealer to some out and install? They charge per hour and I'd like to try to limit them to as little as possible. Thanks!

    Okay, so what is the level of effort to move my setup over from the Veritas driver to this one? I am much more knowledgeable about HomeKit than our Control4 dealer. I think we are their only client that is tying into HomeKit with Homebridge. I'm always having to remind them how to get the config when they add new lights and I'm a bit concerned in trying to tell them how to install this driver setup.

    The reason I asked about the Watch items, is that this new HomeKit driver setup says that they will appear in TV Accessory within HomeKit. I've had the Veritas driver installed for years and I'm usually under the thinking that "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". However, the one draw back we've had is that we still have to use the Control4 remote to select source and also turn off the room when done. I don't know exactly how they adding their features, but wondering if it's possible to add to this driver.

    So am I understanding this correctly? Items under Watch show up as a TV accessory in HomeKit with each item (Apple TV, Cable, Blu-Ray) appearing as different inputs, is this right? What about items under Listen? Do they show as a Speaker accessory?

    @Joshua Pressnell Is there any way to get the items under Watch or Listen to show up in HomeKit? Currently only the Lighting elements show up. I'd like to be able to have the sources for Watch (Apple TV, Cable & Blu-Ray) show as options under a HomeKit "TV" accessory. Hoping this would allow HomeKit to switch the room On/Off. Would be great to also have Listen show up under a Speaker accessory. Thanks!

    How does all this show in Home app? Are there any example screens of different supported devices? Just trying to judge effort to get dealer to install and moving from current setup versus gain of features. Thanks.

    So I have the Varietas driver running and manage everything myself within Homebridge running on a Pi. Would I have to have access to Composer in order to make any updates in Homebridge with this driver. Does this driver offer the ability to power off/on a room (TV, Receiver) and select the source (AppleTV, Cable, Blu-Ray)? Thanks, Dave

    @ajmccausIs there a way to have single tap go to a preset % instead of automatically going to 100%? I was talking to one of the team that manages our system, wondering if he could change it so that one of the dimmers can go to say 85% when you tap it once. He didn't think it could be done. They have scenes that set several to certain percentages, but it would be nice just have the individual dimmers capable of going to last % or at least a predefined one. Can you describe how you've done your programing? I would love to be able to say, yes it can be done and here's how you can do it. Dave

    Joshua, If we purchased the Driver via HouseLogix, do I need to do something special to make sure my dealer can still update to the latest version of the driver? Also, on the topic of AV control, it would be great to be able to control the volume of the music playing on speakers that I connect to via Sharebridge with my watch. I've noticed that with the latest AppleTV 4K and Control4 plugin, the Apple remote now controls the system volume with its volume buttons. I'm hoping that they will get around to supporting the volume control within their Home app. I know that Eve and other HomeKit apps support that feature, just frustrating that they don't. By the way, your plugin has been one of the best parts of getting Control4 in the house!
