Just in the last few days I cannot connect to my controller when I’m away from home.
iPhone 12 Pro Max
latest iOS 17.2.1
yes, 4Sight Subscription is active
I can connect when I’m on my home WiFi but not on 5G.
i uninstalled the app, and reinstalled it, didn’t work.
any known issues with this lately, I’ve next had any issues in the past.

Yes same here, I did notice it is down again today. I typically do not do anything and it works again mostly the next day.

Good to know it’s not just me.
We miss the Alexa skill when it’s down in my house…mostly my kids use it more than anyone!

Mine has been down since last weekend.

It’s been a few days and my Alexa skill has not been working.
I haven’t heard of any outages with Alexa, does anyone else have any information if the Control4\ Alexa skill is down?

The driver documentation usually tells you what the update does. I don’t know any way of of reading about updates. My dealer usually alerts me to updates that impact my system.

Probably nothing to do with the app update but rather the DS2 driver itself which was updated in the last few days. I had a similar issue and a reboot resolved it.
Oh cool, is there a listing of the updates on the DS2 driver?
Also, other than being a dealer is there a way for the end user to read and know about updates such as this?

FIXED: rebooted controller and problem solved!

I just updated the Control4 iOS app, and now my Doorstation2 (DS2) motion alerts have stopped working to my iPhone.
No changes have been made to my Control4 system.
Same iPhone 12 Pro Max iOS 17.
I refreshed the C4 navigators through Composer HE.
I uninstalled & reinstalled the app. Not working.
The doorbell still works , phone and I still get the intercom phone call to my phone and I still get the automatic emails with screenshots after doorbell rings.
Is this a known issue with the recent Control4 app update?
should I reboot the controller?

Just updated my Control4 iOS app and now I am noticed receiving motion push notifications from my DS2 doorstation doorbell.
Anyone else have this issue.? Is this a known cloud issue that is being investigated ?
I refreshed the navigators through Composer HE.

It’s was down for others as well, asked in Reddit, however I finallY was able to log in about an hour ago!

I logged out of the Genie app when it wasn’t connecting and now it says my username/ password is not correct. Not sure what’s going on.

Anyone else having issues with their Genie Aladdin Connect not working?
Started 2 days ago and it’s been down since.
I logged out, uninstalled and reinstalled app and still not connecting.
In fact, I cannot even log in to app now, says wrong username/password when it is actually the correct name and password.Can’t seem to find any concrete info online about this.

I know the Genie is still online because I still get notifications through the native Genie app, it just falls off line in Control4.
So I have to go in HE and sign in with the Genie password etc so Control4 sees the garage doors again.
anyway to fix this ?

Ahhh ok, thank you for filling us in. I wish Control4 would send emails to us end users about these issues.
Is there a way to be notified of these issues and when they get fixed etc for the non dealer , end user? -

Still no motion notifications from Doorstation today. But intercom worked today.

The only negative with this driver is that it does not keep a persistent connection so if you want to see when water is actually running or get a notification that water starts flowing / stops flowing, you need to do a workaround. The best possible workaround for this is to leave the website (or app) open (and refreshing) on another device. Flo then keeps all connections up to date.
Everything else works brilliantly with Control4 (water usage, controlling and monitoring the valve state, changing modes, Alerts setup in Flo etc.).
@Cinegration - this would be a nice enhancement at some stage.
