Is this something I can do without getting my Control4 company involved?

I had to have my audio matrix replaced last month. Our old one just stopped working and the Control4 guy said it was shot (not sure I believe him) but I paid $2,100 for a new one. Now my issue is all of my speakers-in the house and the landscape- sound crappy. We have 9 zones but he installed an 8 zone(?) matrix and combined 2 of our zones. Did the Control4 guy not hook something up right or do I now need new speakers/amplifier? Everything in the system was put in 6 years ago. This is all a foreign language to me.

I have 9 audio zones and all of them stopped working. Had our Control4 guy look at our system remotely. He said we probably need a new Audio Matrix Switch (ours is 5 years old). We currently have a control4 audio matrix c4-16zamsv3-b. I don't see a light on the front of the switch. Other than me physically turning it off and back on, is there any other way for me to determine if my switch has gone bad? The dealer said he'd get some prices and let me know what a new switch will cost. From what I've read on this forum, the control4 audio matrix c4-16zamsv3-b is no longer being made and the new one is now called the Triad system. If this is true, should I look online to find the new switch or go with the price our dealer gives me?

Since the day we built our house, haven't been able to get WIFI in some parts of our 4 year old, 6,000 sqft house even though our Control4 company that did the initial wiring installed 2 Akarnis access points. Last week we had an independent tech take the access points out and install the EERO Pro6. Now that the wireless signal is great, the Control4 app doesn't work. We can't control our shades, garage doors, lights, locks and security system, etc through the app. Our Control4 remote doesn't work but yet we can control the TV thru the Control4 app. After our independent tech talked to our Control4 technician, they decided that the Control4 tech would need to come out to reprogram our system. Something about the ip address, I think? Bottom line, am I wasting my money, (the Control4 company charges $180 for the 1st hour and $140 for each additional hour) will this EERO Pro 6 system work with the Control4 system?

My dealer just updated my system to OS3. Now my LiftMaster garage doors (only 3 years old) don't show up on my Control4 app letting me know if the doors are opened or closed but I can still open and close them with the app. Dealer told me he needs to research to find a "driver" to work with the new OS3. Any suggestions on what I need to make this work again? I wold be willing to revert back to the old system/app but he said that's not possible.

So it sounds like my dealer dropped the ball (again). Will he have to make a service call to configure mini apps or can he do that remotely? And if he adds the mini apps is that another option I can go to on my remote when I hit the "watch" button? And if so, will the mini app be for my Sony TV or Amazon Prime Video? This is all so confusing and my dealer/installer isn't much help.

I have the apps on my Sony TV but can't get to them unless I use the Sony TV remote and I want to be able to get to them with my Control4 remote. I'd like to only have 1 remote to deal with. Also, when I just use my Sony TV remote, I have to turn off my Control4 remote and then the sound only plays thru my TV and not my Control4 surround sound.

I'm confused, also. I want to be able to have the ability to watch Amazon Prime Video on my SR 260. Right now all I'm able to do is go to my "menu" button on my SR 260 and the only apps that come up are Netflix and Utube.

But can you watch Amazon Prime with your Control4 remote? I only have Netflix and Utube apps on my Control4 remote.

Is it possible to use the Control4 TV remote to access Amazon Prime movies? Right now I have to turn off the TV with the Control4 remote and use my Sony TV remote that has all of the apps ( Amazon Prime, Google Play, etc.) to watch movies thru these other apps. And when I watch these apps thru my TV remote, the sound only plays thru my TV and not my Control4 sound system.
