  1. Annex4 Driver is made for WebOS2, 3.0, 3.5.

We are meanwhile on WebOS24. :)

WebOS23 went total fine on Control4 official drivers. But at this time, there are no mentions on WebOS24. To new atm.

  2. has anybody informations about the control4 compatibility for the lg 2024 webos 24 lineup? (especially eu markets)

a client wants a new tv and there are no drivers for the webOS 24 models atm.

UniFi has a new “shadow mode”. It’s a sort of active/passive failover. Currently requires moving the network cables to initiate failover but they’re making improvements in the future.

i know. but in shadow mode, the wan is connected to the LAN of the primary controller. its not seperate

Yes, I click "Pair with TV" button, but there was no pop-up message on TV

yep. thats why i am asking. tried so many samsung eu tvs up to 2021 models but without success.
no pop-up messages have appeared. i don´t know why, but many samsung eu models don´t work with control4.
i ended up by controlling them by CEC, IR or RS232(exlink). it seams that your one connect box has no exlink anymore. sad.

So why pay 2X for a really good one (or 6X for official outdoor one)?  Just bank the savings and replace when needed.  I don't want to cry too hard if I forget to cover it and rain kills it.

because your 950 bucks tv only delivers 350-450nits. And that makes the difference.
Good outdoor tvs deliver about 4.000nits and do not have reflections. so there is huuuuge difference. not only in price. :)

but it's probably worth noting that the power users in these kinds of forums likely switch systems a lot more than the average user.

its great to have c4 employees here that allow more "client near" feedbacks. thumbs up! the c4 tech community is really quite.
i think the average user has maybe just one home, but i got also clients that need to switch their app-location frequently. (home/office/cottage)

I’m going to play around with it and add some background images over the holidays similar to what you have in your picture posted above.

i think this gigantic icons will look strange as a background, but i am interested to see what you will make out of it. :)

Client may claim it was working, it even may have been: but a hacked, unlicensed, unsupported setup is first and foremost .... unsupported.

its working, but i wouldnt recommend it to any client. the crosshair of the remote isnt usable and its more tinkering than a stable solution like a T4.

its no replacement for the t4.

  9. normally i use hikvision cameras for projects. they are rock solid and have a superb quality.
mostly i use them with a windows service and the blueiris software. in some cases i use the hikvision nvrs.

Because of the better control4 integration i consider to give the x20 series a try.
I don`t get a lot of information on the luma series. wether on the dealer portal nor the website. youtube has also not very much videos of them.

does anyone have experiences with the x20 series?
